Very crowded, kinda expensive, and full of Big River beers. OK, that sounds kind of dismissive - We actually had a good time here, and my Tacos were good. Big, crowded places just make a bad first impression, I guess...

The ambiance and decor - lots of old looking wood - was nice, but there was an off odor (musty smell) I noticed right away that took away from the experience. The service was decent but a bit spotty. The selection of food and drinks was good - they had 5 or 6 brews plus a wine list. The food quality was good - I had good old fish & chips. The value was OK. Overall, this was decent place - nothing to rave about but not bad either.

Didn’t try the food so can’t comment. Had the Iron Horse Stout, wasn’t bad. Wife had one of their house beers and said it was decent. Very nice area to sit outside and enjoy a few. Waitress seemed to be very up on their house beers and recommended three or four. Enjoyed sitting outside on a rainy day and enjoying our brews.

Chain pub and tourist trap in downtown; but a tad better than most of the same ilk. Ok beer and good food selection at a decent price. Something for everyone, and a good compromise place if you’re touring with a non-beer geek crew. Update: Read over the previous reviews after posting this one, they seemed to have taken some advice, because they do now have a "House Brand IPA".

Busy chainlike brew pub downtown. We were there during a hockey game and it was swamped. Fortunate to find a seat near the bar. The beers were average but the IPA held up well. The food was good-my girlfriend is a picky eater and she really enjoyed her meal. Service was good-especially after the crowd left to go the game. Not a bad place.

A big, noisy place with good food and weak beer. Service is good. Non-smoking a plus. Come for the food and atmosphere but drink beer elsewhere.

Very chain like feel, beers are fair to middling, has a beer engine but didn’t have anything on while I was there. Menu was the same as others.

Started off here on a Saturday night. Chain restaurant type of atmosphere. Service was very good, the waitress was good about recommending beers. She was also nice and friendly. I, of course, had the sampler to start. The Red ale was good, nice and hoppy, the brown was good as well. Overall the beers were typical brewpub beers. Nothing special but drinkable. I thought the food was really good though. I had the cajun shrimp tacos, I think it was a summer offering. Not a bad stop if you are in the area.

Average place. The ambiance was average, food was average, and the beer was definitely average. It reminded me of a Friday’s or Chili’s that happened to brew some of their own beer.

Great place! Lots of beer, brewed on premises. People were friendly, food was good. Nice menu selection. Lots of bottles too. Good value. Nice sampler available.
