I quite like this place. Quiet little place nestled downtown in a Louisville suburb. When I went, they had 4 seasonals on tap and 6-8 standard brews. Generally pretty good beer all around with a few really creative ones. Service itself was passable, but not great. Location was awesome. I wish I weren’t moving away, or I’d come here more often.

All of the pro communist bs aside, the food, beer and for the most part service were all outstanding.

Ambiance is clean, modern space mixed with some more traditional elements; a well done space. The dining room sits around fifty people, so it is pretty small, but there is an enclosed patio as well. Service was acceptable in time and knowledgeable of selection. Selection consisted of their beer, but NABC brews a nice variety of styles, and often does so well, so this is a positive. The food was very tasty and the menu diverse. The food is a little high, but so is the quality; you can get beer samplers for a dollar a piece, and a flight for five bucks with three-four ounce pours. Overall, a nice first trip, and a great space with no glaring holes.

My fiance and I consider this to be probably our favorite restaurant! The food is just amazing!!! It is not cheap, but you can count on specials like seared diver scallops and their great duck wings and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had along with their pom frittes - get them with the pesto dipping sauce! The beer list is house beers only and I know their list well, so I’m always more than happy. Note that this is NOT the former Rich O’s and some of the reviews here do not belong here, but on the Public House’s site. The picture is also of the Public House and not the Brewhouse as of 1/10/2012.

Phenomenal brewpub. A cozy place with a bunch of wooden booths to sit in. Huge tap list, at least 10 house drafts plus 15 guest taps (mostly locals, including sun king, flat 12, three floyds, etc). The house beers are a wide mix of styles (barleywine, rye IPA, saison, kellerbier, etc) and all the ones I got to try were awesome. Very well crafted, not a bad apple in the bunch. Also their pizzas are awesome!! I got a pizza with nacho sauce, chicken, and pineapple and it was so good I had to come back for more (and more beer of course!). Stellar place, can’t wait to keep going back!

Comfortable laid back atmosphere. The service we got was absolutely outstanding, and the pizza was very good. I tried several excellent brews. I was in town visiting family, and plan to make this a regular stop in the future.

If you want a nice selection of gourmet dishes, you should choose this location over the Grant Line Road location. Great selection of eclectic foods - my wife had the Mediterranean plate and I had some spectacular barbequed duck wings. Selection of beers not anywhere near as good as the other location and menu isn’t kid friendly. A great stop for those who want some high quality food along with the beers but if you just want beer, you should probably just go to the other location as the selection here is somewhat limited.

Few do it better than the New Albanian. If you like beer and are in the area be sure to visit this place. Plenty of ales and all I’ve had are very tasty. Enjoy!

I was able to make it on a day when this place was open. While it wasn’t that busy I got a good sense of what it could be like. The heated patio could be popular on a cold day.Taps included six offerings covering a wide range of styles. You won’t find anything else here like at the other location but the ambience is better.

One thing to be aware of is the lack of food. We must have come between lunch and dinner because other than limited food (like a cheese tray) there were not many options. Ultimately I would probably end up going to the main location but that is because I only visit once or twice a year. If this was a local spot I’d come for happy hour more often.

Great selection of beers. All quality drinks. Staff friendly and ready to serve. Nice wide open place. Wish I lived closer so that I could come by more often. Brewer came out and mingled as well nice touch.
