Old bar feel with back room for dining. Great if you’re looking for New Glarus brews on tap, obviously. Plenty of regular and seasonal selection. Must say, I did quite enjoy the food there. Friendly staff.

Stopped here for dinner after my New Glarus Brewery visit. Old school vibe inside. Bar area in front and homey feel in the restaurant in the back. Crowded on a Sunday evening with a lot of locals. Sadly the food was kinda boring and bland, though the soup was very tasty. The server didn’t tell me that some of my vegetables fell off the plate until about 20 minutes after I was served so I was left wondering why the presentation looked like crap for a while. Servers were very friendly though. Downtown location so there’s street parking, but I had no problem. Oh yeah, there’s 8 New Glarus taps at all time. So that’s a win. Belgian Red and Raspberry Tart in bottles. I had a Raspberry Tart which was also on draft and a Coffee Stout. Pricy food. You get a ton but given the quality its still overpriced. Then again, most pints are $4 and if you visit the brewery you get a coupon for half off a pint, so you’ll make up some of the cost on beer.

Well, im going to give this place a very high rating based on the fact they have 8 new glarus taps, great service, friendly staff and very reasonable. I had 3 7oz samples for $7, which i find to be a very good deal. The bartenders and locals that are there were very friendly. beers were fresh and very tasty! have a really cool collection of vintage NG bottles at the top of the bar-brought back some memories.

More New Glarus brews on tap than the brewery, food looked good, though I didn’t have any. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor was mostly NG breweriana and copper plate. Neat little bar, definitely making a return visit in the future.

Outstanding Restaurant/Bar, 8 New Glarus beers on tap (more than NG tasting room) Has a great feel about the place, the food I guess was of the style of Swiss/German I had a meat and cheeseplate which was to die for! Sat right in front of the taps, a glorious 8 New Glarus beers which looked like a bunch of showgirls! I was on my way to the brewery and didn’t have a great deal of time, which means I have to go back. If you like that kind of food you’ll be missing out if you don’t go.

Dined here when we went to New Glarus. Nice and quaint Swiss restaurant in a cozy town. Mix of locals and people in town to see the brewery. Quality food and excellent service. The beer ain’t too bad either!

"THE" place to eat while visiting NG! 8 - 10 NG brews on tap, not sure what else they have available. earlier in the day while at the brewery, I received a coupon for a free NG beer with the purchase of a meal. the food here is outstanding! can’t wait to go back.
