This place has a pretty interesting little gimmick, where they only serve beer and food from the state of NY. The beer selection isn’t anything spectacular, but they have a little of everything from most of the really good NY Breweries (Capt Lawrence, Ommegang, Ithaca, Southampton, etc). The food was pretty solid (basically stepped up bar food, again following the NY only gimmick). It was fairly crowded, but our service was still decent. I’d go back. I probably say, from a beer trying perspective, it would be best as a good stop for out-of-towners to try a bunch of local beers all together in one place.

Signed up for 5 course food and beer pairing menu on thrill list. The waitstaff had no clue about deal but honored it, but instead of half pints they served us 5 full beers a piece. This ambiance is really cool here and the food is decent. They serve only new York state beers and have about 70 to choose from nothing too rare but good overall selection. Oysters were yummy and I like to head back here sometime
