Well worth seeking out on a trip to Newcastle, just a short walk along the quayside. A good range of well-kept beers served by informative and enthusiastic staff. Great views too.

A favourite with real ale drinkers and arty trendies in Newcastle. Good interesting selection of well kept ales and cider. Slightly scruffy "alternative" ambiance, usually friendly staff, and the best view of the Tyne of any bar in the city. Nice outside space for the summer months.

A great place to sit down and warm up. The pub has great view of the Tyne, a cozy coal fire going, and a friendly and knowledgable staff that make the experience top notch!

Rustic, out of the way corner bar with a decent range of cask and keg beers. More suited to a couple of interesting afternoon halves than an evening out. Unless its a nice evening which lets you exploit the good outside space.

Brilliant bar, great bottle selection and the best craft ales on cask and keg. It might not look like much, but it is a beer drinkers dream!
