Another Newcastle gem, agai from the Fitzgerald’s chain, who can do little wrong. Beautiful airy long-roomed bar, with a fine domed, stained-glass ceiling. Very clean and tidy, modern, but with plenty of olde-world charm, including a handful of drinking booths. Great range of beers and the bottle range is building up slowly. Handy if you’re visiting Newcastle United’s football ground.
