A fantastic delicatessen, just off the main coast road, between Newcastle and Tynemouth, A wander through to the back of the store reveals a large room dedicated to good beer and wine. Great range of UK bottled beers, an increasing number of US micro bottles, plus a good range from Europe and around the globe. In the last year, mini casks from local brewers have been sold (usually Wylam and Durham breweries), along with glassware for a few Belgian beers. An absolute treat and the best in the area by a long way. |
