| SuIIy (52), Natick, Massachusetts | | December 11, 2009 Big fan of this place. tons of bourbon and beers. You can split up 6’s and get a discount for mixed 6 packs. They have a nice deli counter with good cheeses, mustards, hot sauces, fancy crackers etc. Prices arent great, but are on par for the area. | bearcat20 (1), , Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | November 16, 2009 A great place to stop after a hard week of work. The amount beer selection and the staffs knowledge of beer really allows for one to expand their horizons. Great sandwiches too if you need a quick fix. Marty’s is a must stop in the newton area. | | MrRomero (109), Nolanville, Texas | | June 21, 2005 A decent store with a pretty good selection. I’m not sure they sell singles but it looked like they did since there were lots of broken six packs. Lots of old stuff. Today’s sale included Midnight Brewing stuff from Sep 2004. Some Oud Beersel Geueze, some Festina Lente, some Fullers Vintage 2000, 2001. Not sure how well kept these beers are. Nice deli also. | | OldGrowth (132), North Carolina | | September 23, 2004 [ Updated July 7, 2005 ] I stop here on the way home from work. Big selection, stuff gets old though. They occasionally surprise by bringing out something special. Had a few DFH 750’s old style recently. Great New England presence. Big on wine, gourmet food items. Newton location is a big box store. Allston location is cozier. Got a good sandwich here, All Boar’s Head coldcuts. | POPPER (2), BOSTON, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | June 16, 2004 This store has a great selection. The size of a supermarket lots of beers with some offbeat ones as well some helpful people some really know what there talking about. Nice gourmet food section too as well as other stuff for sale you dont always see in typical package stores.check there other store in allston its good too .awesome sub sandwiches to go. |
