Arrived here on nice warm summer evening with the terras being almost occupied. As a result it took a long time to get some service. Also when buying beers, nobody paid any attention. I am still a customer. Athmosphere though on terras was good and the beers, we will see later when I taste them. Riding a motorbike an beer don’t go together so I had coffee, which was OK.

Located in the second oldest building of Nijmegen. Visit to the brewery in the cellar is possible, but only on appointment.

A great looking brewpub within easy walking distance of the train station. Great decor inside and a lovely courtyard outside. Six of their own beers on tap. Well worth a visit.

a perfect location for a brewery, the day I was there it was just the time the cherry trees blossomed, to sit on the large terrace in the sun was to good for words, so much to do under one roof,a great place to visit

The brewery shares a monestary building with a restaurant, chocolate and coffee place. The brewery’s pub has all the beers they are brewing in selection, and very nice indeed. Many of the beers are spiced. They also make their own mustard, vinegar and spirit from (by-products of) their beer. Atmosphere is nice. All in all a nice destination when in Nijmegen, even something to which you can take non-beerlovers (and loose them at the chocolate place).

I surprise of sucha nice place to drink well done beers, they have their own brewery and the ath\mosphere of Dutch people drinking is something to see. Deserts are excellent and of course the Beer, seasonal beer, barley wine, and always something good to try, Is a pitty that not all the waitress know well about beer, quality and characteristics. but anyway a good place to visit if you’re in Gelderland

A bit difficult to find if you go by local maps and come from the riverside :o) They serve nice beers, moslty highly spiced. The setting is a rebuild old monastry with nice touches. Especially the giant wound-up clock is a treat with the large women circling it on the wall. Food is perhaps a little below average - but then Dutch food isn’t exactly my style (even though their Cesar salade was quite average as well.)

The brewery is located in an medieval monastry (well, kind of) together with a brewpub and 2 restaurants. They even offer B&B what we did. A nice but small room, clean and great idea to let people make their own breakfast with bread, jam and stuff. The beers are excellent at this brewpub and many on tap available. Very friendly stuff and willing to do something extra if they have the time. If you can try to contact the brewer Herm who is also a very friendly guy and willing to tell you something about his productie of beer, jam, mustard, spirits and more.
