June 9, 2010 This place far exceeded my expectations, and I was very impressed with the selection. I’d visited Vintage Estate in Boardman earlier in the day, and I can honestly say that I don’t feel VE’s beer selection was THAT much greater than Havana House’s. I was able to grab a bottle of Alesmith Speedway Stout, and they still had some Founders KBS in stock when I was there (6/3/10). I’d recommend this place to anyone. My only "complaint", if I can even call it that, would be the smokiness. I was in there twice within a couple days, and both times I was in there for MAYBE 15 minutes tops and came out smelling like smoke. I’d expected that to some degree, but it seems like there’s nearly no ventilation whatsoever. If you absolutely can not be in a smoky environment, this is not a place for you. I’d be able to stay long enough to get some beer to-go, but I could never drink it there. Just something to consider, but it would not prevent me from stopping back. |

February 17, 2010 Nice selection of beer for starting out on the craft scene. Has plenty of wine. Cigars are unmatched. |

February 14, 2010 I was very happy to find this place. The service is outstanding, and everyone was very knowledgeable about both the beers and the pipe tobaccos.
Not real happy that you have to _pay_ to join the beer club. Seems silly that you’re intending to buy 100 beers, and they charge you for the privilege, but other than that, love the place. |

September 30, 2009 EXCELLENT! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while taking mommy dearest out on the town. I’m so glad we stopped here. I found my plum wine that I only had in Baltimore and we mixed and matched 2 six packs. For the Variety the prices were reasonable. It’s definately worth the travel to get GOOD BEER! Thanks Havana House! |

August 23, 2009 Stopped in a couple of days ago to find a nice cigar, wine and beer shop. Selection of beer was pretty good... had most of the import/micro crowd you can find in bigger OH cities and prices were OK. A little high on some things, a little low on others (in comparison). Nothing earth-shattering on the shelves, but still.... a worthy place in the area to find some goodies. |

May 10, 2009 Havana House is the "go to" place in the Youngstown area. They have an amazing inventory of beer, wines and cigars to select from and enjoy while you are shopping. It is the best place to meet up with friends, expand your palate and have great conversations. I highly recommend that everyone should try the Havana experience! |
