By far the best pub in North Berwick. Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale constantly on draft. The atmosphere is perfect if you like a roaring fire in the winter and locals with their dogs! Bar staff are attentive and good natured. The original Auld Hoose burnt down in Victorian times and the present building, was erected in 1894. It is is the oldest public bar in North Berwick and the original mirrored gantry, spirit barrels, etched windows and cornicing are a joy. The modernised parts just add to the quirkyness of this fabulous wee pub.
