| dukeredhair (20), California | | February 16, 2011 [ Updated May 23, 2012 ] This place is so close to being great. The store is huge and nicely done. The aisles are large. The service is really great I must’ve been asked 5 times in 20 minutes if I was finding everything alright. The selection is ok.It seemed like the place had been really picked over and hadn’t been restocked in a week. They would have "1000" beers if they bothered to restock thier shelves. That said, there was a great selection of craft and foreign brews. Also a nice selection of seasonals. The Organization was baffling to me and it made it very hard to find a specific beer. I hope it gets better since it’s apparently a new place but they need to hire a kid to keep the shelves stocked and figure out a way to organize the selection better.
Edit: 5/10/2011
Made another trip. This time the selection and organization was MUCH better though I still hate the idea of organizing by style. Had oak aged yeti, Chocolate Oak aged yeti, all sorts of hard to find and aged beers Really becoming a beer lovers wonderland! | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | November 16, 2010 Brand new store. I didn’t count the beers, but according to their website it is 1000...and they have a list to prove it. Quite possibly the biggest liquor store that I have ever been to. Its massive. Probably about twice the size of the BevMos in the area. A large collection of beers I haven’t seen at other places. Also a decent sake selection, cider selection, and a lot of meads. Almost every beer is available in singles. Just a massive store! Very good prices as well.
They also have a huge liquor and wine collection. Pappy 20yr for $109, not bad. |
