Grabbed a Schlenkerla and sat outside on the bench under the tree. What more can you ask for? An Urbock, beautiful weather, unbelievable medieval scenerey...all I saw of the inside was the loo, but I would defo return!

Here at the Nurnberg beer raid. Tried my first smoked beer here with Bierkrug and Indutiomarus.

If you’re travelling to Nuremberg you’re almost certainly going to Bamberg, in which case a visit here is fairly redundant. The other beers aren’t up to much. Nice enough place, but not that interesting. Very good Nürnberger bratwurst. But if you aren’t going to Bamberg...

A great place near the Altstadthof as well. A wonderful view of the castle and the Durer haus and platz. And yes Schlenkerla on tap. Food is good Franconian. They now have Augustiner beers on tap. A must stop when here the garten has the best veiw in the city.
