Nice little restaurant and store front that sell cheese, wine, and craft beer. Not a huge selection, but they did have a few nice choices and some singles. They have about 8 taps and sell growlers of the beers on tap which is rare for Chicago. The issue is there is nothing that I would make a special trip for as most of the beers are regional beers that are widely available in the area. Didn’t get to eat but food looked good. I think I would appreciate this place more if I was traveling to the area on business versus living in the area.

In Oak Park for the day signing up the debtors so headed to this place only a mile away. Located on a quiet street, looks dead, and bring change to pay for parking. This place has a cool set up, a wine/beer, cheese, deli, and restaurant all rolled into one... They have about 20 different six packs, about 15 singles to tick, and nice bombers to buy. Mostly local selection but I was able to get any Three Floyd’s sixer I wanted, along with some Killer Kapowski. Price is average, expecting it to be a little lower than downtown... The service was friendly, not overly knowledable... Lunch was awesome, cheap and nicer organic and local fresh farm foods. If I lived in OP I’d frequent this place for lunch. Draft list sucks, 5 sub par locals, but nice bottle selections. Not a destination drive but if in the area stop for lunch.

Expensive but w/ a small but quality selection of bottles plus they have plenty of singles which is a rarity. The purpose of this place, I think, is for people to go in and know they are getting something quality no matter what they grab off the shelf. For serious beer geeks, this is not needed, but it is nice to see a place where the staff obviously knows their beer and that doesn’t need to sell cases of Bud to make their beer section profitable. This place is right down the street from Poor Phil’s Shell Bar which also has a great selection of taps and it is a super convenient location very close to the Harlem green line stop. Nice two fer trip if you’re into such things.

This is the single best place for a beer enthusiast to visit in Oak Park. One side of the store is a cheese, wine, and beer shop. There is a large cooler and a large shelf with beer available. Everything can be purchased in singles. There are probably only 70 to 100 maximum beer brands, but they are chosen well with attention to quality. I prefer that over a massive, dusty, aging selection any day. The service in the retail portion of the shop was strangely awesome. The wine/beer lady was cheerful, helpful, and knowledgable. The cheese guy was just as great. Making a purchase in one side produces a receipt for 10% off in the other side of the store; this was used to get some really great breakfast. The food is hippy, delicious, and exotic. There is a small bar which looks more like a cafe bar but has 8 awesome taps. 3 Floyds, Goose Island, Two Brothers are all represented. No space is wasted on swill. This is a highly awesome place to stock up on some local brews and enjoy a glass or two with a meal. It has virtually zero pub or bar ambiance, which can be appealing when one wants a really chill, laid-back experience.
