Old pub feel, great tap list. Fries were good. Service was really nice too. Enjoyable stop.

We love Barclay’s! Started going here on our way to Cal football games and now it is a regular spot for beers & really good pub grub. 30 rotating beers on tap so there is always something new to try. They also have a beer club to keep track of what you’ve had. The food has gone up over the five years we’ve been patrons. The new cher of 2yrs, Kirkland, has a nice eclectic menu of pub food and some surprises like Salmon Burger, pastas, etc. It can get busy on game days but the servers are VERY knowledgeable about beer. Frankie is a sweetheart and is the best! Nice casual feel with wood tables & chairs, beer signs, but I would NOT call it a sports bar as someone else did, Great neighborhood pub feel.

It was kind of packed since it was Younger day, but really cool bar. Nice outdoor patio, seating inside, and a decent sized bar. Very friendly service, solid beer selection, and fair prices. Pretty close by public transportation and in a fairly nice area in Oakland.

A genuine friendly service. Very good selections of beers although geared up towards IPA’s and Ambers. Value is good, most pints were less than $6.

This is a nice place, especially if the weather is nice and you can sit outside. There’s always a nice selection rolling through and, importantly, they keep the prices down. The fried pickles are the bawmb. If the wait at Zachery’s is an hour or so, I try to head down here to grab a beer during the wait.

Last time I was there I counted 8 IPA’s on tap. I like IPA’s but mayby 8 is too many if you have 30 taps? The food is just so so. The cask is usually good also. A good solid beer bar anyway.

Great location, good pub food, nice beer savvy crowd. Pretty good but limited tap selection. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Nice place to stop in close to BART.

I used to go here a lot and still like this place. More like a sports bar atmosphere, but very relaxed. people are typically very friendly, both the patrons and the staff. Beer selection is excellent, about 30 beers on tap with emphasis on Norcal craft beers. The letdown recently has been the food. Multiple times lately have I been really disappointed. They must have had some changeover in that department, bummer.
