a 5 minute train ride and short walk from Bamberg. noon on a Sunday and we’re the only people inside other than the owners and their friend. definitely a locals place. one on tap, a crisp and clean pilsner.

Shabby but cosy village pub. Only bottled beer: Pils, Vollbier and Keller. Out of business according to Ratebeer? Well, the Keller beer was fresh and in good shape. I also bought a bottle of Vollbier for take away. Friendly service. (Visited April 28th 2012)

Dark place, doesn’t look well maintained, this old fashioned rural brewpub. Very friendly service. There is not a manure heap next to the brewery, but according to the flavor and smell of the beers, there should be one. Quite an experience!
