August 7, 2011 I really like OAW. The friendly ownders and patrons make it a pleasure to visit. And if you have your own pint glass (from OAW) they give you a discount on the beer! It’s a great deal. We always end up meeting new folks there. And of course bringing home a growler of the "Strong Blond" (mixing the American Strong with their Buccanere Blond!) |

November 17, 2010 A bit hard to find with its officepark location. But once we found it, we were so lucky to be invited in for beers even though it was outside business hours. They had 6 beers on, that we hadn’t had before. The "tasting room" is very small and litterally in the brewery, with fermentors all around, so I guess it can get crowded during business hours |

May 2, 2010 Been here a few times. Great vibe and friendly locals. I do recall one light summer/kolsch beer they made (forget the name) but it was amazing. The remainder of the beer was decent but let’s remember we’re in San Diego and the bar has been set of so very high. Brewer seems to have a lot of creativity as I recall a wide range of styles going beyond the typical styles. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Oh yeah, and if you’re lucky "Nemo" may be in attendance. |

July 7, 2009 I don’t know how this brewery stays in business. Their beer is absolutely horrifying. There’s a problem either with their water source, yeast, or both. |

December 22, 2007 A busy local brewery in an industrial park. It’s worth going for a tasting and chatting with the brewer. Some live music. |

July 15, 2007 Nice local brewery in northern San Diego. Very popular with local patrons and very busy tasting area (right beside all of the brewing tanks). |
