| jefcon (31), Arlington, Virginia | | December 27, 2008 A great selection and lots of Belgian bottles for Omaha. Need to break a six or four-pack... Not a problem, as the service bends over backwards for its beerloving clientele. | | heemer77 (171), Savannah, Missouri | | October 7, 2008 [ Updated October 8, 2008 ] I was here recently and very impressed. I have racked my brain and cannot think of another beer store i visited that had nothing but beer. Absolutely awesome! This place packs a lot of varied brews in a small space Not the best prices I have seen, but not the worst. For quality, this place measures up pretty close to the best stores in KC. The guy working knew his stuff and was very helpful. Certainly a must stop for me whenever I visit Omaha again. | | Tmoney99 (254), Cincinnati, Ohio | | August 28, 2008 Went to Crescent Moon and walked next door to get a couple of things for a business trip. Long and narrow with well organized crome shelfs on the left and coolers on the right. Very good selection and allowed singles. Freindly and knowledgable service. Very good location and will stop when back in the area. | | iowaherkeye (24), Los Angeles , California | | February 13, 2008 Been here multiple times throughout the year. The same folks who own this store own the Huber Haus and Crescent Moonwhich is about 30 feet away. Most of the folks who work here seem to be members from BA and are quite knowledgeable and friendly. The main highlights include La Folie, Upstream, had Ølfabrikken at least a month before Iowa (big surprise there), a few JP’s, and a pretty impressive assortment of Belgians. The place is pretty darn small, but they manage to cram almost nothing but craft and imports on the shelves. I do think I remember seeing a minimal amount of BMC, but this place is all about the good stuff. A must go to in Omaha. | | eaglefan538 (90), Wilmington, Delaware | | January 18, 2008 A surprisingly nice selection for a place that is in a location I didn’t expect to have much. The highlight is their carrying of the Upstream labels, although their import and domestic selections are solid. They also let you break six packs. Great service, super friendly and knowledgeable, and they even offer a volume / beer afficianado discount. | moseefus (2), Omaha, Nebraska does not count - explanation | | October 25, 2007 Recently moved to Omaha, and found this amazing store from this website. Stopped by today and was blown away by their selection, knowledge and customer service. Spoke with the owner and his wife (i’m horrible with names forgive me) and they were both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They have the best selection of imports that i’ve ever seen, and it is definitely the only place to shop for beer in Omaha. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of beer glasses, and added a bit to my collection. | | valpoaj (12), Valparaiso, Indiana | | October 24, 2007 This place rocks...what a Godsend to Omaha! Beer selection is well above average, constantly changing, and the staff personable and pleasant. Belgians are the name of the game, but they try to cater to all types of beers. The build-your-own sixer (with a good selection of the seasonal domestic micros) for $7.99 is great. They do a real nice job of updating their beers via email (a website in the future would be a great addition) and are more than happy to put something aside for you if you call ahead. These folks really cram a lot into a small package! | trum22 (1), does not count - explanation | | October 22, 2007 Not only are the employees extremely knowledgeable, but they are eager to help. They love to discuss beers and love to send you home with new ones to try. Build-your-own six pack cooler is filled with American Micros and reasonably priced. Selection of Belgiums is amazing. | nickspies (3), Omaha, Nebraska does not count - explanation | | September 18, 2007 A great selection of Belgium and German beer. A good mix of other countries also. The American Craft beer selection grows almost weekly. THE place to go for package beer in Omaha. | | theisti (114), Leawood, Kansas | | August 16, 2007 [ Updated February 25, 2008 ] Update - 10/31/07 - Had a friend visiting from Omaha, asked him to bring some beer. In email conversations, Brent and Jen were SUPER helpful getting the order ready, as well as offering suggestions on what I may like. Great communication, certainly above and beyond the expected.
ORIGINAL RATING 8/16/07 - Great little shop with a nice selection. A bunch of singles In addition to local Nebraska beers (Upstream, Spiker), they also had some labels I can’t get in Kansas/Missouri (Struise, Mikkeller). Service was great, even got a bonus of a new Boulevard beer! Only place I stopped in Omaha, and can’t imagine any place better. |
