The place has a good breakfast buffet, and breakfast menu. The beer is mediocre, but the place is fairly upscale. Dime a dozen type place that you don’t seek out, but doesn’t leave you feeling disappointed walking out.

This is a very nice generic brewpub in a box place. The staff are super friendly and good at their job, so that speaks well for the Manager. The beer is of course bland as is all Granite City beer. The food is served in large portions and is quite tasty, although overpriced. Apparently, the mug club membership helps to bring the prices into line with a more reasonably priced establishment.

stopped by following the Younkers Community Day sale, and found high-priced food, and fairly boring beer. I enjoyed the french onion soup, but not enough to compensate for the location, west of 72nd street. The bar area had a number of televisions giving us a good look at several college football upsets.

Visited in August 2007 on a Tuesday evening. Apparently newly opened and was somewhat difficult to find (not being from the area). In fact pretty much stumbled upon it. Pleasant wait staff, however not very knowledgeable about the beer. Tried a sampler platter of their six micro-brews they had on tap. Nothing outstanding about any of them and a couple were quite boring. The food, on the other hand was very good. The dip for the waffle fries was interesting but did not go very well with any of the beers. All in all glad I found the place but was gald to find anyplace.
