I’m a fan - love the pizza, which has great buttery crust. Sports on the TVs. And loads of beers, even if most aren’t very high end or rare, you can usually find a couple that are worth ordering. Easy to find location directly off 11th Street. Building is clean and orderly and patio seating in the front. Bar on left and seating for food on right. Bar has taps in the middle with coolers on both sides with bottles. Staff is freindly with good beer knowledge. Menu is corporate apps and dinner selections. Good location, beer selection and food. Go here for the food, and enjoy a beer while you’re here. Some pretty good micros on tap, including NB 2 Below. I’ve had a couple experiences where they’re out of multiple ’featured’ beers...maybe one, but not more, is acceptable! Food isn’t Chicago quality (I’m a displaced south sider), but it ain’t half-bad. As I like to describe Old Chicago’s tap selection: The best of the worst. You would likely do better to walk a block away to The Dubliner Pub where the ambiance and history is much greater. The beer selection is about the same: Top selling macro brewers’ foray into craft land. Nice location, great staff and really good food.
