| matt7215 (47), Cambridge, Ontario | | May 21, 2012 a very good bottle store, not that pretty and i found the layout to be confusing, i neither asked for nor was i offered any help while shopping but i did get 5% my bill and a carry out. im assuming pricing is inline with other orlando options but this is the only bottle shop i stopped at. solid place to buy beer. | | PhillyBeer2112 (64), Oviedo, Florida | | May 17, 2012 Glad to finally visit the new location after all this time. The new spot is about 20 miles further from me than the old one, but I was excited to learn that its right next to Sedano’s which is one of my favorite places to shop. So I think I’ll be going back a bit more regularly now! Anyway, the rating is going up some, as the beer selection here is as good if not better than the previous location, still the best place in town by a mile. And now there’s so much more space and ease of navigation. | gsteph (9), knoxville, Tennessee does not count - explanation | | May 1, 2012 Stopped in on way back to Cocoa Beach from Orlando. Typical liquor store in a strip mall kinda place so the ambiance goes without saying. The staff was engaged in a conversation with other patrons they were assisting. I didn’t need help, but based on what I saw they seemed to be helpful. The selection was good sized. Two full aisles and 2 coolers. Their choices were similar to other places I’ve been but I really went to pick up some Cigar City stuff. The prices were on par with everywhere else. The best place near Orlando that I found. | | johnnnniee (50), Bedford, New Hampshire | | April 30, 2012 I stopped in last week while on April vacation with the family. It’s a smallish liquor store in a strip mall. Lots of great beers on the shelf, some in a cooler, some haphazardly stacked on the floor with no rhyme or reason. I found some nice Cigar City and Terrapin bottles to drink by the pool and to smuggle home. The guy in the beer isle told me to ask if I had any questions and then I never saw him again. Seemed a bit on the pricy side, but I did get a few 750’s. If I end up in Orlando again, I’d stock up here. | tzachary (6), Knoxville, does not count - explanation | | April 29, 2012 Although the ambiance was nothing spectacular (it had the appearance of just about ever other liquor store, small market), the beer selection was great. They had two aisles of several shelves with just about every style present, and in addition to that, they had several coolers available. Informative staff as well! | | tkrjukoff (133), , Sweden | | February 22, 2012 Great service, Adam helped me here to find what I was looking for. Selection is very good. Definately a place to stop by if you are in town and need a refill. | | rob6239 (13), Ontario | | February 11, 2012 Fantastic selection and the staff is very helpful | | beernovice39 (146), South Carolina | | January 17, 2012 Great store, prices and selection. What more do you want? Oh a ratebeerian driving the ship? Got it! | | GT2 (196), Washington DC | | December 30, 2011 New location for the beer mecca of Orlando. Alan (ratebeer handle SoLan) runs the store and is the beer buyer and keeps the new stock up to date on ratebeer Orlando local forums. Pretty sweet setup for us ratebeerians. The beer selection is insane. At least 1,000 different bottles it seems with lots of odd Italian rarities like Del Borgo Duschessic and 25 Dodici. Stuff like Pannepot and Oerbier Reserva. I was able to score some new Nogne O’s and Thornbridge Bracia here along with some new BA Alvinne beers. Very awesome store and a must go to in Orlando along with Redlight Redlight ( which also updates their tap list on Orlando local ratebeer forum). Also found Amager regular Imperial Stout here for the first time ever and it was magnificently good. | | kennydiaz (23), staten island, New York | | November 14, 2011 A very nice selection. Nice and clean A lot of of different beers. Has excellent selection of Bells and Cigar city. Premiere selection of Belgium beers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping if in the area. |
