Good selection but everything else leaves a bit to be desired.

This bar is the closest beer bar to my house, so I was very excited when it opened. Unfortunately on the night I chose to visit it was packed with college kids. (It is located on the UCF campus near the arena. I must say that the selection was the best part about this place. The atmosphere was OK. A little too cavernous with a high ceiling and a lot of windows. The worst thing was the service. The bartender was only marginally knowledgeable and very rushed even though at the time I ordered there really wasn’t that much going on. My Tremens was served in a nice glass. It was a little pricey. I will stop in again when on campus, but I will not go out of my way when I can go to several nice bars that are also close by and have better service and ambiance.

Heard that this place had a great selection so I decided to check it out. Agreed, the selection did not disappoint. But that’s that, nowfor the rest. The bartender took her time finishing her conversation with a few college boys before even giving me a nod. She turned out to be a very nice girl who knew nothing about beer. I noticed a nice selection of glassware that must be for show because everything that I ordered (imperial stout, belgian strong ale, double IPA, seasonal Belgian) came in a pint glass. Prices were ok, but a you can find better in town. I guess it’s to be expected form a campus bar.The food is your average sports bar food, nothing to write home about. Patrons were mostly college kids putting back the usual swill while discussing the nights plans. Overall, if you’re in a bind and need a decent brew... it’ll do. But a 5 to 15min drive will put in a better bar with better service and better prices.

Halfway decent beer selection, but nothing extraordinary. Extremely overpriced. A bottle of Aprihop and a plastic cup of Sierra Nevada Summerfest on draft was $13!!! Service isn’t very knowledgable about beer or correct glassware. Food is fairly good and the place is nice and clean. Better than most places in Orlando, but still not great.

On The UCF Campus, Can be extreamly crowded on UCF Game days, but usually a somewhat quiet place. They have a pretty solid beer selection however they dont always have alot of whats on the beer list which can be frustrating.

As a UCF alum, I am so excited and proud to have a genuine beer bar on campus. This place is the real deal and definetly one of the best beer bars in Orlando. A huge selection of taps that rotate constantly and an even bigger selection in bottle. The food is typical and the service is decent. I’d be surprised to see a better beer bar on any campus in the country. This place makes me proud, I just hope the student body appreciates it so that it may stay around for years to come. Go Knights!

Well, well, well......a beer bar on the campus of my beloved Alma Mater!? Hell yeah! The place is located in on the campus of UCF, in a brand new retail center sandwiched between the new basketball arena and the athletic village. The format is like that of a sports bar, massive TVs everywhere you turn. The food is standard pub fare, mostly burgers, chicken, and fried appetizers. Decent at best in that area. As for beer, there are literally 50 taps and 100+ bottles. Now, nothing really blew me away as far as rarity goes, but there are ALOT of really solid choices here. Sure, there are a bunch of macros too, but they are far outweighed by craft beers. The wait staff is not very knowledgeable when it comes to beer, but they are were very friendly and attentive, and also willing to learn. Overall, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better beer bar on a college campus anywhere in the country. This is a top 5 beer bar in Orlando, right behind the likes of Redlight Redlight, Underground Bluz, and Eola Wine Company.

Rerate after a few visits. I’m pretty stoked about the selection here. Nothing rare, but alot of really good stuff (Dogfish Head, Bells 2-hearted and Expedition, Dales Pale Ale, St. Bernadus 12, Weyerbacher, Ommegang, and more). It is unfortunate however that they’re served so cold, and they use frosted mugs. I had a chance to talk with the proprietor who extolled the virtues of good beer and said that was his goal for the place - to be a good beer place. He was not enthusiastic about selling macro at all, but simply has to do so for business. This place has the right direction but the execution is a little less than desired. Prices: pretty high actually. $5.50 for a glass of draft Dales Pale Ale, and then the other night after 2 glasses of draft 90 minute, the tab was $13.85! Or I appear to be a glutton for punishment, as the other night I went back again, $22 for an appetizer of quesadillas and a bottle of GD Hercules. Ugh. Despite the awesomeness of having all this good beer a mere 3 minute wa
