14 reviews for Total Wine and More - Orlando
| cfrancis (20), Gloucester, Ontario | | October 12, 2009 Solid bottle shop. Was there on vacation with my wife and got thrown this addy. Very glad that I went, beer selection was amazing with Costco type shelving with a LARGE selection of brews. | | Mojo33543 (11), , | | September 21, 2009 great store with a lot to choose from | | daknole (90), Plantation, Florida | | March 21, 2009 Tons of singles, locals and sixers. Service lacks. New beer and out of the box selections lack. But quantity is there. Prices are good. same as any FL total wine. | | kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | June 23, 2008 Visited this store a few times in the last several months and given that I knew what I was looking for, it was generally a good experience. Total Wine does a nice job of keeping shelves stocked with decent beer at a decent price. The service is hit or miss, and on rare occasion, you might just find some gems on the shelves. But we typically visit these stores to stock up rather than shop for rarities. No complaints from the recent visits. | | changeup45 (46), Orlando, Florida | | April 15, 2008 Total Wine & More is like an alcohol department store. Lots of wine, hard liquor and a couple rows of beer. One row is your singles and big bottles. The other row is six, four packs, etc and yes you can get some of the better stuff via six or 4 pack (at a far reduced price I may add). These are all warm and you can get cold beer in the back. They also have generic empty six pack cartons you can use to make your own variety six pack. The selection is pretty good too. I think anything can be purchased as a single. Prices seem to be reasonable and actually the cheapest in the area and I can imagine this place appeals to a wide range of drinkers. With any specific questions you won’t get the knowledge you would get over at Big C Liquors or Knightly Spirits though. Located off of Colonial Square near downtown. | | performula (27), Triangle Area, North Carolina | | December 23, 2007 Better slection than the Total Wines in NC. Much cheaper as well. Hercules costs $6.99 for a 22oz. in my area. $4.99 at this location. The cost was lower across the board. | irishpenguin13 (4), Leesburg, Florida does not count - explanation | | December 12, 2007 this place rocks!! they have almost everything from singles to gift packs to cases and also, 4 and 6 packs. they also have a nice variety of kegs on the spot. they also sell utopias once a year. i only wish they had more gift packs with glasses. awesome place. | | DragonStout (73), Pataskala, Ohio | | December 9, 2007 A decent place to buy beer on the east side of Orlando.Their selection is fairly large and you can buy singles if you want. | | markwise (56), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida | | August 4, 2007 If YOU know what you’re looking for then this is the place to go. If you need help, go to Knightly Spirits. Their St. Bernardus, Three Philosophers, Dogfish, etc. is less expensive and they run coupons in the paper from time to time. I have found that the more time I have to browse the better the stuff I find. Their stockers make mistakes and mislabel and put beer int he wrong place. I realize I go to a wine store for beer and I have to do the legwork. | | Beerlando (43), Orlando, Florida | | July 3, 2007 OK, obviously ambiance is not very high as it is basically a warehouse type setup. The service is eager to please, but the problem is nobody there knows anything about beer. The beer selection is very good, and most are available as singles. There’s nothing super rare, but the overall selection does beat out 95% of stores in the area. Only store I have seen with a better beer selection in the area is Knightly Spirits. Pricing on most items is excellent, and they do mess up in your favor on occassion, though people snatch up the errors very quickly. This is my main beer/liquor store, as its very close to my house, but I’ll still make the trek out to Knightly for the really good stuff. |
