Great selection, prices are a bit high though. Typical Whole Foods.

Typical whole foods. Beer singles selection is up front and extensive. Six packs and bombers are in the back of the store.

Ok, so Whole Foods is a grocery store, yes... but they have a stupid good beer selection. It may not be the hippest thing on the planet to buy your beer at the grocery store. I can concede that... but no joke, anyone who carries Kelpie, Acme, Delirium, Belhaven, Blackthorn Cider, Hitachino Red Rice, and multiple types of sorghum Beer (for gluten-sensitive beer lovers, amongst whom I count myself, oh the pain)... is impressive just as a beer store. Plus, you can pair your beer up with the right cheese, olives, crackers, whatever else all day long. It’s a grocery store. Ah ha! Oh, and usually they have a few people that know their way around suds, so find someone wandering the wine aisles and ask a question if you have one. You’ll probably be pleasantly surprised. Prices won’t knock your socks off (or maybe they will, but not a good way), but sometimes they have a good value or two.

This place I regret avoiding time after time. If you’re a health freak, I’d say this place is worth looking at. If you want some uncommon brews - this place is DEFINITELY worth looking into. They may not have the biggest selection, but given the combination of micro-brews available, you could consider it very well stocked. Unfortunately no one could direct me to some brews (e.g. Rochefort 10), I had to find it on my own.

Update - 12/11 - now has beers on tap. About eight quality taps - a few locals, a Belgian or two and some upper shelf form tops craft brewers - proper glassware - most from the brewery themselves. Prices very reasonable for the area. Visited here in March ’11. Like most Whole Foods has a stellar lineup of micro bombers, solid imports, lots of locals and some rare stuff. Beer is located in two sections - the main section back by the cheese is where you will find all the bombers and imports....head back up towards the registers and the produce section and you will find two coolers full of singles. Not the largest selection of singles - but able to pick up about a dozen I had not had yet. Lots of local stuff - Cigar City, Orlando Brewing and Shipyard. Found some Brewdog for a steal at 6.99 a bomber - usually this stuff is around 13.99. Food of course is excellent. Nice large store - new and clean.

Hmm! Holiday in Orlando. Where to get craft beer? Here in Whole Foods Market they’ve got ’em. Even Marshal Zhukov:-) Did not expect to see this. A big line-up of blend your own 6-pack. I really do not get the buy a 6-pack idea, but at least you can mix it here. Food is fantastic, selection of beer is great though nowhere near the New York places. but still to a dane... ...oh, I wish I lived here.

It is right off of the I-4, Turnpike, and International Drive. Very close to Knightly Spirits - Hiawassee Blvd. I love the beer selection in this store. The Big DFH beers are here. A full line of Orlando Brewing. Cigar City. Lots of West Coast breweries represented. Amazing sake available as well. I recommend Anthony’s Coal Fired Oven Pizza around the corner. Great food!
