Could have been very good! Some good Norwegian micros both on bottle and tap. The restaurant next door used to be very good but has gone down in quality past years...

Located in the lobby of Hotel Savoy, although not tied to it. Still feels like a lobby bar, with muzak playing low in the background. Slow service, or more like this: Where is the bartender hiding?- Even though this was early afternoon, I do expect a minimum presence of staff. Mostly macros on tap, but also some Norwegian micros, had Haandbryggeriets Summer Ale on my visit. Gets crowded in weekends.

Formerly the Savoy Bar, Eik has been spruced up and is now a pink plush fancy designer bar full of all kinds of people, seemingly mostly from the hotel. It is really a whiskey bar, but they have taken in some imports, plus a good range [6-8] of beers from Haandbryggeriet. Table service is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Music is quiet and unobtrusive. There is a fancy restaurant next door [also called Eik] which may or may not have some of the same beers.
