Quite a small place. Food is decent if a little uninspired Burgers, Sausages, Fish and Chips. If it’s not busy you can get a tasting flight of 4 of their own for 180Kr. Decent selection on tap, both of theiir own and a few guests, also the bottles seemed reasonable.
A quite small and seemingly very often crowded brewpub within walking distance from the main railway station in Oslo. Will take you some 20-30 minutes or so, but then you’re thirsty when you get there and can enjoy one of their own beers or some other nice beer from other breweries. Got efficient and friendly service with beers in good form. Not the coziest place in town, but it’s a fine place anyway. Only visited once, but will sure go back.

Very cosy brewpub. Some rare finds. 25 min. brisk walk from the town center.
I’ve been there a couple of times before and always been happy with the beer and food, but I was a bit disappointed with the prices now. We bought food and with the food I would have wanted 0,5l, but they only had 0,33 glasses of their own beer on tap. And this at the cost of 88kr (for an IPA).
This place has very much a "brewpub" type feel, with mostly locals here. 11 beers of their own on tap, with a bunch more guests. A big plus is you can do a 4 x 20cl flight of their house beers for 155NOK (great deal for Norway). Beer quality isn’t great, but a couple were quite decent. Service is helpful and friendly. Can’t say it’s a mandatory stop due to beer quality, but it’s ticker friendly. Nice little stop.
Nice, pretty relaxed brewpub with a “local” feeling. Nice selection of own beers together with some other interesting stuff, mostly Norwegian (at least the night I visit them). Friendly but rather busy staff. Did not try the food. Don’t know if it is so much more to say about this place. Visit them if you are in the area, not sure if it’s worth the detour if not just for the ticking?
Updated rating: Finally back again after four years. The pub is much the same, but know they are a brewpub, which wasn’t the case back in 2010. Beer selection is impressive, I tried seven of their own beers from tap. Well, the quality isn’t top notch, not bad, but decent enough. Their best beer this evening was Løkka CDA (Black IPA) A big plus is that the brewpub offers 4 x 20 cl to 155 kroner (Nok) I had two of those! Helpful and knowledgeable staff. First of all, the Google map location for Grunerløkka Brygghus is wrong. It is not situated that far from the city centre. It is nearby The Nighthawk Diner and Aku Aku Tiki Bar just south of Birkelunden Park. We entered the place a cold evening a Tuesday in November. It was crowded but a pleasant atmosphere. The beers on tap were shown on a chalk board. I headed for their house brew from Nøgne Ø, Single Hop Citra IPA alias "Kjell Pop Single Hop" A good beer! (Visited November 23rd 2010) Total score: 72
