Close to the metro, this bar serves both beer knowledgeable Parisiens (and tourists) as well as locals who come for the music, a chat and perhaps the food. Bit of a rock bar atmosphere but clean and welcoming. I think it’s run by a couple. The girl makes super taste and (for Paris) affordable toasted cheese, sausage, etc sandwiches with fresh salads. Recommended for a quick lunch. To go with that of course a beer. Their 3 taps include Stella (marked ’regular beer’! :-) and two French micros. Bottle selection is neat though with Mont Saleve, Perle, La Belle, St Rieul and more. Prices are again reasonable (about 4 euro per bottle). Very friendly guys at the bar and speaking reasonable English (and happy to try). Nothing to complain here!

A lot of french craft beers for 3.50, this place is a steal. Worth a visit when you are in Paris. Almost no tourists here, mostly locals.

A very new place which apparently started as an indie rock blog. A must-stop if you’re visiting Paris and want to try French craft beer, which is nearly impossible to find anywhere else. 2 of the 3 taps and all the bottles are French craft and they keep up with new releases. I guess one could wish for more tap lines, but this is really as good as it gets for Paris. Walking distance from Sacre Coeur but away from the tourist zoo. Relaxed atmosphere with people listening to records and chatting. Friendly bartender with decent English. Prices comparable to US.
