| MattH (38), California | | November 12, 2011 The place is cozy. Its a little run down, but I think that gives it some charm. Honestly when I’m out to find beer I could not care less what the place looks like. And this place really is not a dive. Dives are much worse. The food is cheap and was not too bad. I got a corned beef and pastrami sandwich with a big side of fries for less than 9 bucks. Beer prices are standard for Los Angeles ranging from $5 to $9 bucks for the beers on tap. The place has several different rooms and in an upstairs room it sounded like people were having a good time watching a soccer match. I’m glad I came. | | Oakes (593), Gibsons, British Columbia | | September 9, 2011 Good spot. Pubby vibe, in an American way, and they have a good range of beers. I didn’t notice anything too rare, but they lend support to the local Craftsman stuff and they have a good list of other beers as well. We had a well-priced bottle of relatively old gueuze as well. The service was ok, but the guy had no idea what we were talking about trying to order that lambic, which is funny in this era of educated servers. | | lithy (156), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | December 15, 2010 As divey as dive gets in California where there is no smoking. We went on a not very busy night, service was serviceable, the tap list was big, prices were high, but overall I had a good time. | | djenkin (17), | | September 13, 2010 Been going to Lucky’s for years. It’s always a good place to go but it has been getting really run down the last few years, and not the good kind of run down. Not sure how often they clean their taps or anything else for that matter. Great place to see a soccer game and drink from a wide selection of California and European brews.
Always fun to go. Its just off of Colorado in Old Town. Last time I was their they had all sorts of Belgian beers on and got to try a few new ones for me. | capncali (5), does not count - explanation | | June 15, 2010 small pub style setting with an amazing selection of beer on tap all the time with more amazing beers released at festivals t

wow | | Getbetter (17), Cucamonga, California | | February 24, 2010 This is off Raymond and Colorado in Pasadena. This is my personal favorite bar in Southern California. There’s great beer events. For example, there’s the belgian beer festival where most their taps are Belgian. There plenty of taps and bottles.Enjoy! | | elihapa (65), Honolulu, Hawaii | | October 14, 2009 Visited on a trip to Pasadena with my girlfriend. First of all, love the location: just off a cool central street of Old Pasadena. The interior winds with old-school English charm, in a sort of dingy way. We finally made it back to the bar, which was a tiny little thing with no signs and no easy wayy to discern what their current tap list was. Their tap list was decent -- I especially liked how they featured both Saisons as well as local specialties like Craftsman. However, something about this place just work for me any more than a good neighborhood bar would. Its just a bit sloppy -- perhaps intentionally -- and for that reason I just couldn’t seem to get into LB’s, with girlfriend at side. I’d go back if in the area though. | | illinismitty (275), Nashville, Tennessee | | September 28, 2009 It’s hard to describe this place, but it’s sort of like Irish pub meets sports bar. Nice mix of locals and a very good selection of beer, bottled and draft including some obscure stuff. Prices are not too bad considering the area. I did not eat, so I have no thoughts on the food. Worth a visit. The best selection I have had in the LA area with the exception of Stuffed Sandwich. | | beersearcher (24), Glendale, California | | July 17, 2009 I love this place. Football on the telly. Great beer. First place where I had Craftsman hefe. But it is really lived in. Could do with a re-fresh and the food is average. |
