Good service and excellent food. Best burger and fries in Patong! Only three in house beers, but import from Belgium, US and others.

Visited this place late in the afternoon and caught it at a quiet time which was good. Location is a little odd as I thought it was quite secluded and hidden behind ’The Ship’. Good set up; attractive bar and round foyer walls with plenty of booth-like seating. Upstairs toilets are a bit of a hassle especially after a few litres of their unfiltered ales and lager. Service was great, but then all service in Thailand is enviably good. Food menu’s kept very simple and westernised; the German pork knuckle was great but at close to a kilogram in weight I really struggled. Good selection of beers as far as Phuket island goes and the house brewed are very tasty indeed even with the use of Royal rice. A good escape from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Highly recommended!

Was very surprised to find this little brew pub in Phuket! Low score only comes from lack of selection, but 3 beers is better than none! Fantastic Location, and would definitely pick this place as best drinks in Phuket....Loved it...

Finally, an actual brewpub in Phuket, let alone Thailand. This place is very shiny & new. Just opened in very late 2010. Currently they make only 3 beers, a Belgian Wit, an English-style ESB (only they use rice as part of their grain bill), and some sort of light lager/ale type thing. I am guessing it was top-fermented. The place is in the very new (and huge) modern shopping mall, one block off the beach strip. Easy to find. Once inside the mall, head to the back on the ground floor and look for the indoor pond and big pirate ship. It looks like they are trying to replicate the Las Vegas strip here (Bellaggio fountain & Treasure Island shipwreck). Funny odd, but funny good. The brewery has two copper brew kettles, probably around 15 barrel capacity each. I counted 8-9 fermenter/bright tank combos, so it looks like they could produce a few more styles over time. Also their brewing area is on display and pretty spacious. As such there is room to add a tank our two down the road. The beer was drinkable, but nothing to write home about. Still, a true departure from the rest of the country and any true beer lover should stop by and throw these guys a bone. With a little support who knows what the might do next. If nothing else their success would inspire other such ventures. Wouldn’t it be nice to get an IPA in Thailand one day?
