Great Place! Went this week after a nice long Harley ride. The place was crowded but I was able to get some real estate at the bar with no problem. Nice Beer selection and the food was very good. Good service good people. Go and enjoy! | rds (3),

It seems the Peekskill Brewery opened sometime in September 2008. I was in today and had a pretty good time. Their tap list is fairly ample, offering 16 taps. They do brew their own beer, but today none was on tap as they are currently in search of a new brewmaster it seems. On tap today when I was there was: Widmer (didn’t find out what exactly), Abita Purple Haze, Blue Point Toasted Lager, Kelso Chocolate Lager, Magic Hat #9, Southhampton Secret Ale, Goose Island Honkers, Ithaca Cascazilla, Captain Lawrence Double IPA, Captain Lawrence Espresso Stout, Dogfish Head 90 minute, Ommegang Abbey Ale, Avery Hog Heaven, and the Wildfire Pale Ale. Bottle selection is fairly large as well, I counted over 130 different bottles available, with about 20 imports including Delirium Tremens, Duvel, Chimay, and a few foreign commonplace things. Less than 10 macros on the bottle list, none on tap. About 30 or so of the bottles were from New York breweries with a nice selection from Southhampton and Ommegang. |
