This is a supermarket, with a deli and a bakery but, unlike other locations of DeCicco’s, there is no growler fill option here. Their beer section is limited in size but has quality and depth for both style, region as well as having some oversized offerings. The prices at this location are frequently better than at their Ardsley location (at one point the price for a bomber of Sculpin varied $4 between the two locations). There is no true ’service’ at this spot as their beer section is more incorporated into the market.

I checked out this place recently thanks to PilsnerPeter who mentioned it to me. This is one of the best supermarket selections I’ve seen locally. The first place I’ve seen Local 2 and the lowest prices I’ve seen on a lot of other stuff. A solid selection of sour ales and imported stuff. The layout is kind of jumbled, but it’s worth taking some time to check out what they have here. I’m a fan of the hot buffet as well.

I was very impressed with this nice little local Supermarket. There’s a long cooler with some generic stuff, but mainly craft six packs. There’s also a couple of racks at the front with some German lagers, as well as the new 12% Imports stuff. They carry the most common Cantillons for very reasonable. (I got Vigerrone for $14.99) They also have a singles selection, including local stuff from the northeast (I scored an Imperial Stout Trooper from New England Brewing). They also had Brooklyn Local 2, which I hadn’t seen down in the city yet. Also, many of the stuff that is accesible in the city was much more reasonable at this place. For example, the Paradox Ale from Brew Dog was about $5.00 cheaper than Whole Foods Bowery. I also saw a Batch 1 of Ommegedon that was sitting around, freakin sweet! This place was worth the stop. It’s just off the Saw Mill, and the hot food buffet was pretty good, and was only $5.99/lb. I recommend this hidden gem!
