The Liquor Shed

Not quite on the top shelf with some of the other Perth bottleos (they don't seem to turn stuff over quite as quickly, which sometimes works well if you have missed out somewhere else), but there is a good broad selection here. I haven't really found any of the staff to be too interested when I've been in most times (it's a huge "barn" like a liquor store version of Bunnings), but I can generally walk out with at least a few new beers, and the prices are slightly below the competitors

Great liquor store with one of the better ranges in Perth. The staff know their stuff and are happy to give tips on their top tipples. My wife got a selection of brews for my birthday and the staff went around with her and hand picked each one. Every beer has been a winner so far. Couldn't recommend highly enough. No points for ambiance though. It's a beer warehouse.... so, maybe I should have given it full points!?!

Stumbled across this one, along side the new Spud Shed, whilst doing a course down in Jandakot. More a liquor cavern it almost feels cramped and oddly spacious at the same time when entering. Four long shelving units of beers separated into countries of origin puts it at a 300+ for my guess. Dirt cheap for singles, sixers and cartons; the only draw-back is there is no discount for mixed sixers (no biggy!). Great selection, well rotated and kept fresh as they come. Being a liquor store I guess beer is not the forte of the staff, but a quick browse for all you want then staff are not needed. Impressed!
