Nice open beer garden with German beers on tap - either .5L or 1L pours. Thought it would be too hot to be outside during the middle of the summer, but plenty of shade outside.

Delicious German seasonal Beers! Amazing Food. The best time to hit up this spot is spring and fall, in my opinion. They have outside and inside seating. They have fires going too. Its pretty cool! Love reading the jenga block messages. :)

’Sup brah! Always jam packed with an uber douchey crowd of serial date rapist in tight t-shirts. Food is decent. Alright selection of German beer and some locals. Great open air space when the weather is right. Lots of games (ping pong, Jenga) that cater to the crowd of people who read at a 3rd grade level. Servers are a strange mix of disenfranchised hipsters and stuck up seawards that spend most of their time on a tanning bed.

Located in Fishtown near Feete Sau, Barcade, EGG and JB. Of all of the places blossoming in that area, I find this one to be the most fun atmosphere. Enormous german beer hall with several separate access to the bars, huge outdoor (heated) seating, fires, and a ping pong table. They also have non-German beer which is nice. Pricing is appropriate. Every time I’ve gone here they always have a Victory beer worth drinking.

New German beer hall in NE Philly. Large indoor/outdoor space with a warehouse type feel. Well thought-out place. Steven Starr does it again. Beers are your typical German drafts, served in a half or full liter. There are two bars and two food counters. Everything is self-serve. It has a cafeteria feel but that allows you to eat and drink at your own pace. Perfect place to chill for the afternoon. The food I sampled was tasty. Pretzels, potato salad, potato pancakes. They also have a nice selection of sausages and other German sides. I highly recommend this place even as it works out the kinks.
