The short of it all is that they have a good selection but the prices aren’t gonna do your wallet any favors. Not to say they are out of line for Philly standards, but they are equal (plus some)to Philly standards and that is kinda high. No prices, which is infuriating. A few bottles have prices and they trick you because those are always nice and cheap- even a "steal." But don’t be fooled. Now, with the price gripes out of the way the selection is pretty decent especially for a corner deli. Lots of bombers and 750s, a bunch of sixes, and some single 12oz bottles. Good stop if you are nearby and need a bottle for a BYOB.

It is a deli and looks it from the outside, you would never know it sold beers if o quickly walked by. Lots of craft beers but no pricing. I cannot stand the no pricing that goes on in Philly. Due to this i will not frequent Latimer unless i really need something and cant find it anywhere else. I dont want to have to walk up and aska about it at the counter everytime. Especially because some of their pricing is out of line. Most product is sixes with a small selection of singles.

Prices are not spectacular. Selection is good for a small, corner store. If you are headed home after a long day and want a single bottle of something better than average, stop on in. If you are headed to a BYOB establishment for lunch, you could certainly stop here first.

A short walk from Monk’s all beer is to the right and in coolers ... nice selection of belgians and micro’s prices were a little steep and you have to pay cash, but there were a couple of nice finds .... they also have 6 packs ... other than that its a small grocery store chips, cokes and smokes .... I wouldn’t go out of my way for the bottles, but Monk’s isn’t big on selling bottles to go so they recommended this spot. It’s definitely not even close to monk’s bottle list, but you’ll find something here.

Pretty good selection but kinda pricey even on some local stuff. Cash only. Went to the dive next door. Pretty rocking, you can smoke in there, which let me tell you, is wild for an Englishman.

I live right around the corner from this place so I go here fairly frequently. The selection is decent to good with a nice mix of local stuff, belgians, euro and macros. The prices are high but I’ve found that to be the case all over Philly. Worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Kind of surprising that a deli like this also doubles as a decent bottle shop. Good selection of belgian, german, american beer. Prices are a little high for the Belgian ales, make sure to bring cash.

One of the better selections for the standard deli/beer stores. lots of six packs and bombers of somewhat desirable stuff. great divide, smuttynose, troegs, stoudts. some german and belgian stuff. full line of st. bernardus stuff including watou triple and Special Edition 12. prices are pretty high. $12 for a 6er of Titan IPA.

Latimer is directly next door to McGlinchey’s and around the corner from Monk’s. NYC style deli beer selection concentrating on corked Belgian and Belgian style bottles plus other Euro and American singles and 22 ounce bombers. Avery, Heavyweight, Ommegang, and Victory all present. It’s one of the few options in Center City Philadelphia to obtain craft beer to go. A 750 ml bottle of Chimay Blue was priced $10.20. Just for reference you can get a 330 ml of Chimay Blue next door @ McGlinchey’s for $4.95.
