| patrickfannon (16), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | August 3, 2010 Stopped by this laid-back, stylish, corner pub a few times with James and my dad. Bar is old wood, with a nice, colorful chalkboard listing the draft menu. Food is a bit overpriced, but definitely very good and interesting. Tap selection is usually solid; Bells’s, Southern Tier, Port Brewing / Lost Abbey, and some standby Belgians. Great spot to drop in for a bite and a pint. Does not hurt that it’s literally down the block from me. | | michael-pollack (100), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania | | July 9, 2010 Nice bar ambiance. Good service. Decent draught and bottle selection. Great food (my friend is the chef). But really, the food is very good, and reasonably priced. | | jredmond (111), Manhattan, New York | | July 5, 2010 [ Updated September 21, 2010 ] A nice little bar located in the art museum area of Philadelphia. Although they don’t have a huge selection of beer, what they do have is always quality. They seem to have a standard rotation of offerings from Port/Lost Abbey, Southern Tier, and Bells with occasionally some brews from The Bruery. Nice staff and solid food. | TonyDiUlio (6), New Jersey does not count - explanation | | June 22, 2010 St. Stephen’s Green is my bar around the corner. When you walk in, there is ample seating for either a sit down meal, standing tables around the bar, or seating outside to enjoy the weather. The bar has 10 ever changing taps that continue to impress me. There is a nice bottle list. But the best thing about this place is the value of there beers. they are so well priced on both tap and bottle selection. the food is a great addition to this place. try the wings, they are killer. |
