| jredmond (111), Manhattan, New York | | January 22, 2012 great place with a top notch selection. One of the best craft selections in Philly period. Go here. | | strongpieman (68), Mount Airy, Maryland | | September 29, 2011 Decent place. Most of the 12oz is cold, which I didn’t want since I was traveling. Selection is good, not great, but this is worth the stop. | | Spookgolds (11), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | August 20, 2011 Really great selection at this place. If they had food I would never leave. | | MikeMoriendi (50), Boynton Beach, | | April 27, 2011 Stopped in on my trip to PA when heading to my aunt’s house. Really well stocked. Love that majority of the beer are in coolers and ready to drink when you get to your destination. Lots of awesome stuff to choose from. The woman working there was very nice and knowledgeable. Pricing seemed pretty normal. Must stop in NE Philly. | | Chalsk (39), North Caldwell, New Jersey | | July 31, 2010 Great place. Stopped on my way to visit Leafs93. Very clean, very organized. The owner was very friendly. Being from NJ, I was in love with the fact that they had Alesmith, Port/Lost Abbey, Russian River, and Bell’s. I’m sure they had some Cigar CIty as well, and I am upset I forgot to give it a look. If I ever find myself down that way again, this is a definite must stop. | | Capa (172), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | June 3, 2010 Very clean with most of there stuff in coolers. Really nice selection of local, U.S., and worldly brews. Most of the beer in the coolers is 12oz with the bombers ket warm (a few are in coolers, though). They fill growlers or you can buy a pint and drink as you browse. Friendly staff. A bit pricey but best selection in the area. I’ll be back. | | italianjohn (127), Penndel, Pennsylvania | | April 30, 2010 [ Updated November 5, 2010 ] A nice clean place with lots of coolers ... Good selection of new arrivals, special brews and your average joe .... they have a few taps in the back, growler fills and some events ... the guys are all helpful and know their beers .... kind of pricey, but the convenience of building a six pack in PA makes it appealing | | oOJUXEOo (14), Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania | | April 10, 2010 I found out about this place recently and had to go check it out. Selection is fantastic. They do occasional samplings from different brewers, which is a great idea for a beer store. They have growlers available for their taps in the back, about 5 of them. They allow you do split up six packs and make your own... another hard thing to do in Pennsylvania. Prices are OK. Service was great, very helpful, will look in the back for things that may not be up front. | | MadIndian (31), Levittown, Pennsylvania | | February 21, 2010 [ Updated May 7, 2010 ] My wife accidentally stumbled onto this gem for me. I wasn’t expecting much when I went in but I was rather surprised with the selection. I usually have to travel to Issacs or Capones to find quality beer. The service is friendly and each time I go in, the selection seems to be growing. You can crack a beer open in the store and drink it right their. And they usually have something on draft in the back. Last week I believe he had Bell’s Oberon on draft.
Updates 5/6 They now have ALESMITH AND THE ANGELS SHARE | raymow (3), Bensalem, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | January 4, 2010 Nice place - great idea - we’ve needed a place like this in the Northeast for a while now. The only down side is the price (a bit high) but the cost of good beer is definitely up these days so it’s not necessarily their fault. Also, good selection - but it could be even better. |
