| Phillies2008Champs (14), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania | | January 28, 2012 I really prefer this location, bigger place with high ceilings. Spacoius curved bar with up stairs. Menu is great for snacks and sandwiches. I hade the sliced meats and an Italian hard cheese. Awesome. A bit pricey but worth it. Beer selection is not deep but all good stuff. | | DragonStout (96), Pickerington, Ohio | | December 26, 2011 This was a nice little suprise next door to our hotel. They are mainly a wine bar but their beer selection is well thought out.The service was top notch. I stopped here twice and both times were great. We did a take out and they didnt have plasticware but let us have the flatware. The place is small and quaint, a place I can see myself hanging out at. | | BeerVirgin72 (94), Pickerington, Ohio | | December 12, 2011 Lovely place! If I lived here I would be here often. We stayed at the hotel across the street and ordered here twice.
They were ALWAYS packed.
The food tends to be more Tapas style, smaller portions, which we loved.
Had the smoked chicken salad, a tuna salad sandwich, and the dried meat tray. ALL were excellent. The service was spectacular, the food fantastic, and the beer list was awesome..Nothing I didnt like here. | | lefossoyeur (10), Montreal, Quebec | | August 10, 2011 Really nice place for dinner. Food is truly good. Great value too. Selection of beers is great altough not very large. Staff is very friendly and pro. Two thumbs up. | | TURDFERGUSON (117), Carrboro, North Carolina | | June 9, 2011 Went here during Philly Beer Week 2011 so this review is may be biased but I loved the shit out this place. went here once at night and shared a supplication and came back the next day when they had hill farmstead on tap. Amazing food, very moderately priced for the quality, very sexy and attractive ladies who actually know their shit with regards to beer, wine and cheese. I’m a fan, I’d be a regular if I lived in Philly. It’s a little busy, but you lose yourself in the delicious beverages and edibles. | | GMCC2181 (42), Newark , Delaware | | June 5, 2011 Just like the other tria... Small bar with 20+ tables. Kind of feels like the classic first date place. Usualy a good draft list with some good west coast or semi-rare stuff on. Bottle list is good as well. Food menu is small, just sandwhiches and apps but pretty tasty. Well worth the stop. (good wine list as well) | | italianjohn (127), Penndel, Pennsylvania | | February 5, 2011 Upscale joint in the gayborhood part of town. The people were friendly and they had a very nice staff and decent brews. It is a wine, cheese and beer bar with a menu consisting of some tricked out salads and sandwiches as well as bunch of different cheese bruscettas. Was there for a New Holland meet the brewer event and the place had a decent vibe. Bet the summertime is better with outdoor seating and the windows open. Clean and decent priced place for downtown. Good taplist, limited/expensive bottle list (good range of styles though), and friendly quick working staff. | | jredmond (111), Manhattan, New York | | August 30, 2010 Nice dim atmosphere with a slightly upscale feel to the ambiance. Friendly staff, quick service. They always have great beers on tap, albeit not a huge selection - what they have generally rotates with solid breweries available most o the time. For instance, lost abbey/port brewing, Russian River, cigar city, mikkeller. This is a great place for a date, being that they have a wonderful wine selection, nice cheeses available as well as a bunch of other smaller dishes. | | Rastacouere (581), Montréal, Quebec | | August 6, 2010 We loved our experience at Tria. We came upon it pretty much by luck. It was humid and 95+ outside, so the idea was to pop in 15 minutes to refresh ourselves a bit. We ended up staying 3 hours or so. There may not even be 10 taps, but they were qualit offerings. I was thrilled to find Victory Braumeister which i’d never seen before and they also had the new Ommegang Zuur and the classic Avril. Solid if small list. The bottle list is also relatively small (maybe 30?), but mostly consists of heavy hitters: HOTD, Russian RIver.. the kind of stuff you’d drink anywhen. Moreover, they make excellent food platters with a strong focus on artisan cheeses and it’s a wine bar with a wine selection that’s maybe even better than the beer selection making for lots of potential discoveries and pairings. Inside, the place is modern, airy, rather trendy though it does not feel posh and anyone would feel pretty welcome with the warm and friendly, knowledgeable service given inside. You feel comfortable here even if it’s very clean for a ratebeer entry. I’d gladly hit the other TRIA on my next visit to Philly, but according to the owner, they share 80% of the beer selection. The owner also told me they’re opening a 3rd address soon. We loved it here. | | patrickfannon (16), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | July 16, 2010 Average, trendy, insanely scenester bar/cafe type place. The only reason I stopped into this place was because of a recommendation from Jodi at Monk’s that they had Russin River Registration. Downed two of them for 12 bucks and then hit the road for Belgian. Worth a visit, especially with a date, but I’ll stick with Monk’s and Capone’s. |
