November 23, 2011 Nice, cozy (i.e. small and a bit cramped) but almost always crowded restaurant. Very nice regional food but you know you’re here for the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell so drink until you can drink no more. |

September 10, 2011 Why this place is on Ratebeer...
The selection is very very poor, just some 5 bottles and the Pilsner Urquell Kvasnicový. The Pilsner Urquell Kvasnicový they serve does even taste different than the one at the brewery tour.
On top of that we even got ripped off by the staff when we got the check.
Do the brewery tour and stay away from this place. Was thinking of going to Uncle Paya, but after the visit here, we skipped it. A big pity! |

July 17, 2011 Decent Pub, known for its unfiltered Pilsner Urquell, all toild i was no where near as impressed with the Pilsner as i was about the version in the brewery cellar, but otherwise this was a decent enough pub. |

July 4, 2011 not much reason to make the trek to pilsen besides a couple awesome pilsners it seems. if you’re in the town, might as well stop by here for the unfiltered pils urq. it is good. |

February 24, 2011 [ Updated March 3, 2011 ] Traditional looking beer hall located in Plzen (and coincidentally across the road from hotel). Everyone knows that you head here for one thing – the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell yeast beer and it is certainly worth the trip! The other beers available are those owned by Plzensky Prazdoj (Master and the like), so you are best ordering another tasty unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. The food is top notch traditional Czech pub grub and is well recommended. |

November 20, 2009 They do have the Unfiltered Urquell. Small and cozy with 80’s pub musik playing. Had a decent pork dish and a couple of Urquells. You only wanna go because of that 1 one beer. Ok place, though I already had the Unfiltered version in Prag at U Rudolfina the day before. |

August 10, 2009 Packed on the night we were in there. Nice interior and and the food was pretty standard. But one of the few places you can try unfiltered Urquell - enough said. |

July 4, 2009 A quite big bar kept in wood, and somewhat worn, with a medium sized seating area outside. The service was attentative - and best of all they got the unfiltered Urquell plus a couple of other beers worth a tick. |

November 29, 2008 A large wooden decor restaurant and bar. Well worth the visit for the Unfiltered Pilsner and good Czech food. The service was very rushed though as all tables were full so definitely a popular place for locals and tourists. |

October 20, 2008 Restaurant atmosphere, and a nice one at that. Sits about 80 in many half-separated rooms. 3 beers from Pilsner Urquell. Very good food overall and especially an above average goulash. IMPORTANT NOTE: People go there to taste the unfiltered Pislner Urquell. True they have a Pilsner Urquell, but not the one in oak barrels that is totally different and only available at the brewery not far from there. If you want the real deal go to the brewery and taste the real thing. The version is oak barrel is totally different and doesn’t even look at all like the version served at Na Parkanu. The version at Na Parkanu is only slightly better than the regular Pilsner Urquell, not much there. Overall that’s a nice stop for a nice meal and a pint or two but not a place I’d go out drink to. |
