Surprisingly good place. Good draft list (local rarities and breadth from the west coast) and a pretty excellent bottle cooler. Downside is that it's filled with the sort of people who will not care about the excellent craft beer on offer (testimonial to which are the copious varieties of terrible alcohol - Mike's, Zima, Smirnoff Ice, etc) on offer. But there's good stuff here if you're so inclined with some legit rarities in the cooler.

This is about a block and a half from Pismo Brewing. Unlike Pismo Brewing these guys serve good beer. I didn’t expect much from what I saw on the outside, or even what I saw when I walked into the front gift shop area, but in the back they have quite the bottle selection and a number of good taps. The gift shop didn’t make much sense to me but whatever. Then you walk through a large pool hall with some arcade games around the edges of the room. Interesting. When I’m traveling I don’t feel like spending the time to shoot a game of pool but it’s nice to see a pool hall that has good beer. As for the beer, they have a dozen taps, almost all of which are interesting. The bottle list is moderately insane, and not just for a pool hall. They have half a dozen different Eclipse beers as well as some high end Bruery beers, and a bottle of Utopias… Seriously? Who thinks about buying a $200 bottle of beer to sip on while shooting pool and/or playing arcade games? Also in the fridge were Almanac sours, Cascade fruit beers, Hangar 24 limted releases, barrel aged Old Rasputin, and Bourbon County Barleywine. Wow. At a pool hall. In Pismo Beach. Who would have thought?

Pool hall located across the street from Pismo Market. It can be really crowded in the summer when the tourists flood Pismo. The tap list is dominated by domestic micros, more specifically west coast brews. They usually have a selection from each Alaskan, Deschutes, Sierra Nevada, Firestone and Bear Republic, and so on. As for the place itself, there are probably 12-15 pool tables, air hockey and loud music in a big ass room. Also they have a snack bar that produces everything from a deep fryer for better or for worse...
