Small free dedicated parking lot right in front. Place is older warn service was below average, the guy was on the phone most of the time I was there. There was a hand full of taps, but nothing I was looking to try. They advertise 650 beers I would guess half that many, however they do a descent job of locals. Prices were above average for most things except their best stock which has quite the mark-up ($20 for a Speedway, never seen this any where else). This was the primary place I went to with the time I had and was a big disappointment. Phone service came in and out for me here, no wifi. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place.

Saw their ad in the local "City Paper". Stopped by to see what they had available. There was a pretty wide variety of beers that I haven’t seen in other places. Six packs, bombers, and single bottles from the cooler were on hand. The prices are a bit high but some items they had are hard to find so it may all even out in the end. The even had a few specials with $5.00 for bombers that have passed their use before date. Located in a tiny strip mall with about a dozen parking spots. Interesting place to check out at least once. I may go back whenever I’m in the area.

So, this is not a bad place. Pretty good selection of mix six pack stuff. Could be a little lower in price but I must say that once I got my sixer rang up it was less than expected. I was figuring about $20 but it came to less than 15. Lots of coolers and theprices are well marked. Not a bad seletion for this part of town. Lots of bombers and also has the cheap BMCs.

I stopped by here for the first time today. I was at a local grocery store and noted the prices of 3 beers: Delirium Nocturnum, Sam Smith’s Raspberry, and La Fin du Monde. I put off buying them at the grocer figuring I’d get a better price here. Wrong. Those three ranged in price from $3.50 - $4.50 more per bottle at McNeilly’s. Why pay so much more for the same beer? Maybe if it’s something truly rare pay the premium, but I wasn’t impressed.

finally somewhere other than the mostly crappy Tom’s Diner/Beer shop in Dormont in my immediate area. adjacent to the new ALDI store(munchie food heaven) and just down the road from Brookline Blvd. They were slow to stock the place up at first and nothing was marked for price and they had hard time finding prices for anything but they’ve made good progress and almost everything has a price sticker on it, now as of my last visit ... I feel that a lot of the micro. and european stuff is a bit over-priced considering the not exactly central location but it’s nice that you can go in and get a 12 pack of something decent and few single 12 oz. bottles of Hopslam or a Unibroue or etc. all at once. I have not tried the hot dogs, yet but , I plan to . You can sit there and swill a beer or 3 if you want and there are tables and chairs right near a big HD tv that is wall-mounted ... A lot of odd-ball ’bomber’ sized bottles for the bomber-geek . Most of which are as I say, priced a bit too high for my liking but shrug, what’re are ya gonna do ? The serious beer person’s alternative to Tom’s which is a joke other than for malt liquor or 4-Loko type crap .

Probably the best bottle shop in the city at this point. Great prices, nice big selection and some stuff you can’t get at other similar places. Prices are clearly labeled. Nice 20% discount if you buy a 6 pack and if you can’t find a good 6 pack here, you are hopeless. I hope this place stays a secret

Decent size bottle shop. The front looks kind of like a convenience store, but then you see the coolers lined up with singles and the racks stocked full. An odd assortment of six/four packs versus singles. Lots of stuff looked pretty dusty, which can be a good thing depending what you’re looking for. The kid working the register was on his cell phone for the most the time I was browsing and didn’t seem to know what I was talking about when I asked him about the upcoming release of Bigfoot. The only other negative thing about the place was that my cell phone didn’t get any access there, so I couldn’t look up any beers on Beer Buddy app. Otherwise, a very promising looking joint. I’ll probably head back. ***UPDATE: Great time on my second visit. A man, most likely the owner, was there this time that knew his stuff, and he was very friendly and helpful. I put together a six pack, and with their 20% off sixer discount, it was a fairly decent price. So I’ve raised my rating of their service and value. Three taps are installed, and they told me growlers would be in any day now. Also, they are starting to have tastings. Looks like this will become a regular stop of mine.
