I love this place and its owners. Patsy--God rest his soul. He is an icon in the beer industry. This was one of the first places in Pittsburgh that carried imports and micros. The biggest drawback is parking, but then again it is located in Oakland. Best selection in Pittsburgh, and they will order anything and everything. Prices average with any distributor in Pittsburgh. They do a great business, so their beer is rotated

Good selection. Good place right in Oakland. Very dirty, I bet someone has died there. Service not very friendly. Need to parallel park. Bought a case of Oskar Blues and there was dirt and dust all over the top of the cans. I will go there again, but very dirty.

Visited during the backstreet beer walking tour of Oakland July 2007. The customer area of this place is small with bottles of all the different micro and craft brews on display. Very nice, very large selection. Back where the customers were forbidden, I could see a very large cooled warehouse with all the cases. If you don’t see what you want, they will order it for you. Young helpful knowledgeable staff. Prices are a little high compared to my home town distributors back in Beaver County. As with any ’PA beer distributor’ this is a cases only place, no six packs or separate bottles.

Nice selections of beers, especially for a college campus. Service was terrible. They tried to steal my ID thinking it was fake even after showing a second form and did not know much about beer. I will not go back there.
