artmcd8 (3), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | February 17, 2012 Extremely pricey but the only place to go with such a large collection in the area. Only asked about a hot dog once bit didn’t have any and it was early on a Sunday. I recommend stopping in. | | gsmitty80 (153), Washington DC | | September 14, 2011 Nice bottle shop in Shadyside. Open late until 2 AM which is a real convenience. The place was clean but the clerk wasn’t helpful. VERY EXPENSIVE but you are paying for the convenience i suppose. | | cheapdark (128), Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania | | July 8, 2011 This place is simply a hole in the wall and surprisingly, they were not selling hot dogs the afternoon I was there, how weird! They did have a cooler where you could build your own sixpack and other coolers with a good selection of sixpacks. They also had a shelf with a few bombers of ’fairly’ rare beers. Although most of the beers were quite common micros and imports, i did find a bottle of something I had not tasted yet. Prices were average for the pittsburgh area but I guess bellow average for Oakland. My 12 oz bottle was $3.50. Parking is terrible in Oakland. | zeryboys (1), pittsburgh, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | June 30, 2011 It’s a very close to where, I live. They have pretty good selection, people are nice,if they don’t have something that you want they will get it for u or they will explain it to u if they can’t get it in PA. Prices is nice.Any seasonal beer they have it.They have a hot dog it’s nice and cheap.I would love to go back again & again at this place. |
