German themed restuarant with tons of beers you can’t find anywhere else. This is your place if you are a big fan of German brewed beers. The food is great but prices are on the higher side.

Came here for a soccer game one afternoon. Located in a strip mall which was weird. Large patio and fairly large interior of the restaurant. Traditional german cuisine served from an asian waitress in a place that had a beer list heavy with german producers and varietals. I had fun, I got drunk, and I enjoyed the salty food.

Discovered Aventinus Eisbock here, the best beer in the world! The wait staff is very cool, the decoration great. I love the food, it was amazing. Great selection of beer and they know how to serve it. Prices are a bit inflated though.

Great food, great fun and great beer. Authentic German experience. I lived in Germany for over 2 years, and I can tell you, they do their food and beer right. An institution here in Plano for many years. Well worth a visit.

How lucky for us that the Bavarian Grill, right here in the Metroplex, is one of the best German Restaurants we’ve ever enjoyed. Every time we visit, the owner comes around to ensure patrons are enjoying their meals (makes you feel like a regular). The food is fantastic & their menu features seasonal specials that are always unique- dishes I’ve never encountered at other German restaurants. The wait staff is knowledgeable & patiently handles the very large crowds that are commonplace on weekends. The bar features some great-with-beer appetizers that aren’t on the menu in the main restaurant & on many nights there is a separate musician/band in the biergarten & the dining room. (seek out Alan Walling, he is hilarious- send shots of schnapps to the musicians, they get free beer). The beer selection, both ein fass & flaschenbier is excellent (all German) & their Stein Club program is formidable (you have to go through the entire list, you can’t get one just drinking dopplebocks :( Best experienced in a group of friends, go enjoy some great polka music, good beer & fantastic schnitzel.

Visited for swalden28’s birthday. Hard to find little place near Kegs and Barrels. Decent amount of beers on tap (all German styles). Probably the biggest collection of Franconia beers I have seen in Dallas. Service was slow, and some what harsh. Food was suprsisingly good (coming from someone who loves German food, but I am a harsh critic).

A nice German restaurant and beer garden. Beer list has about 30 choices, a few which are not common to Dallas. Also, carry the Franconia beers. Food is good and some wild game options show up on the menu in the fall. Had good service at lunch

went here for my brothers birthday. great german place. live german music, great food, and a great selection of brews. only been here once and looking forward to going back. service could be a little better, but as busy as this place was i can understand why the service was not great.

I LOVE this place...German food, german beers, GREAT. They have over 50 german beers, some on tap, others bottled. I love having schnitzel and a smoked braut with a nice german brew. They have a card that you use to keep track of how many different beers you have had there, after 50, you get a small stein.....

They try to make it as Bavarian as they can. There is a corner with a big screen showing what looks like the German version of CNN. They have every German beer available in the area. Food is good, but overpriced. Ompahh music every night.
