| beer4mencc1701 (15), Irving, Texas | | July 6, 2009 Taking into consideration the dismal scene for those seeking excellent beer on tap in the Dallas area (outside of Ginger Man & Flying Saucer, it’s grim), this place was a breath of fresh air. Decent tap selection, including a rotating tap and a nice bottle selection as well. We have been several times & the food is consistently well prepared, the menu full of standard pub fare. A great place to go if you’re part of the thirty-to-forty-something crowd that prefers darker, quieter more traditional pubs. We’ll keep going back, hoping they stick around. Great location in downtown Plano, within walking distance of other respectable watering holes, so it makes for a nice mini-pub-crawl. | | mar (36), Dallas, Texas | | November 26, 2008 nice little place in downtown plano with a decent tap list and a nice bottle list. fairly cheap and the crown wasn’t too bad at all. | | TizzleJizzle (11), Garland, Texas | | September 30, 2008 I went to the Fillmore Pub one night with some friends and noticed the aurora was laid back and average, this could have been because it was a rainy weekday though. The service was good I only had to flag down the bartender once. She knew exactly what glasses to use for their respective beers. They had a slightly above average selection and me and my drinking buddies found something that we all liked. After that, we had the nachos which were pretty damn good I must say. All in all, this is an okay place to drop by and hang out at occasionally. |
