I really liked this place. As soon as we walked in, I knew this was going to be good. Punk/indie music, lots of dim little lamps, candles on each table. Several craft taps, lots of bottles, and a properly trained cocktail mixologist. They have Foosball and table shuffle board. Good prices for draft beer. I feel at home here.

One of my favorite bars in this part of the Metroplex. The tap selection has gotten much better over the past six months, with at least 3-4 Texas beers typically on tap at any one time (usually one from Peticolas, 512 and the someone else such as Deep Ellum or Live Oak). Located in Downtown, it doesnít normally get too crowded and the staff is nice, even if they arenít all beer experts. The food is pretty good, but I think it is a notch below the food at the Fillmore, which is located directly across the street.

Surprised to see this place on rate beer, but it is a really good restaurant. A great addition to downtown Plano. I have been numerous times, and always impressed with the beer selection. Not the biggest, but this is not a beer-centric restaurant. Just a good place with a good selection. So, that is what my rating is based on. Also, the service is always good. That is probably what impresses me the most. Other places in this area (see across the street) could really learn something from Vickery. And again, the food is the priority here, always good and in a very reseanoble price range.

Just happened to pop into this place last weekend with some friends - was immediately impressed with their selection of local craft brews. They actually had Boulevard Chocolate ale on tap as well which was very surprising. I had a Live Oak Liberation Ale (very taste TX brewed IPA) and my wife had a Chocolate Ale. I will be back here soon as I heard they will be getting a keg of Jester King Boxerís Revenge. I also want to try more of their food.

Stopped by here for a meeting. They have local brews on tap such as Live Oak, Jester King and Franconia, as well as Real Ale..but other Craft brews are pretty limited, I like a place that promotes local brews and thats an A++ in my book..Extremely friendly and cute female bartenders that kept my glass full, I do question the pours though...they pour for quantity which most people would like...personally, I like a head on the beer but I understand and they do a DAMN good job at pouring with no head....I would have been VERY impressed back in the day. I like the atmosphere as well, there wasnít all these frat/college kids I had read about on Yelp.com.....must be a different location. Overall, I hear great things about the food and must try that burger my buddy got, looked and smelled GREAT! Will stop by again on another day. Very relaxed atmosphere and I love that!
