| watson1977 (55), The dub c, Pennsylvania | | May 20, 2012 Was in the area and stopped in to check it out. The employees seemed friendly and interested but only marginally knowledgeable. Selection was decent but not out of this world...a few hidden gems...i scored a couple of BA boris bottles. Prices were fair to good on most things. It was a bit crowded in there...sunday @ 330. Id pop in again were i in the area. | | pvequalsnrt (10), Norristown, | | February 16, 2012 this place is great. i stop in here at least 2-3 times per week. mostly for growler fills... if they have a beer you want in a growler, it won’t be cheaper any where else. double trouble for $14? yes please. someone who knows about the beer is always hanging around.
the selection is great, although their mix-a-six isn’t as big as wegman’s in collegeville. but if you’re looking for good, widely distributed bombers and sixers, you won’t find them cheaper any where else.
happy i live so close. | | 2xipaok (10), Florida | | January 28, 2012 a good slection of craft brews and always a little somthing suprising on the tap system. | | Leafs93 (74), Conshohocken, Pennsylvania | | July 16, 2011 Nice selection for the area and the prices are good. I usually go for the growler fills. I would like to see a more frequent rotation of the taps, having beers on for two weeks at times can be a downer, especially when looking to try something new. The sit down area is nice and I noticed they now are promoting the flights. | | Capa (172), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | | February 13, 2011 Decent selection of bottles at very reasonable prices (for Philly single bottles, that is). Sixers and some singles, but most singles are bombers. Growlers are decently priced, also. Selection isn’t huge but fairly broad and mostly good stuff. Not worth a special trek from Philly (I-76 is a pain) but if you are out that way it’s worth a visit. | | Steeeve (34), Ambler, Pennsylvania | | November 12, 2010 [ Updated March 31, 2012 ] Great selection of standards, seasonals, and a surprisingly good number of limited release beers. Have done a great job keeping everything stocked, and have improved their selection of German and Belgian beers. Prices are rock bottom, the lowest you’ll likely find in PA. Service is pretty good, the employees are very friendly and seem to at least have a grasp of what they carry. 8 taps that rotate quickly and they offer growlers and pints. Nothing really special but it’s one of the few places in the area that sells craft 6 packs, and the location is really good, especially if you happen to shop at Whole Foods anyway. | | regspeir (17), Havertown, Pennsylvania | | July 6, 2010 Decent prices on some limited items. Growler fills are reasonable, although again, a limited selection. Food is ok and reasonable. In other words, if you are in the area it is worth a visit but not worth a trek. |
