| thedora (14), California | | December 19, 2010 A stand out for sure in S. Florida. Great place with a really nice vibe and a great bottle list. I love me them Belgians | | 50belair (41), Florida | | August 8, 2010 [ Updated January 23, 2011 ] A little expensive, but great food, great staff, great ambiance..... | | MikeMoriendi (50), Boynton Beach, | | May 11, 2010 Very small little place that reminds me a lot of a family run Italian restaurant. Very large selection of beers including lots of Belgians. The food is incredibly good. The service is really good with a knowledgeable staff. The prices are a little higher than normal but it’s worth it on the food. Very enjoyable place down near the beach. | | Bierkrug (214), Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Germany | | April 6, 2010 I visit this area a lot. This is one of my favorite bars in the area. Food is not really special but the beer selection is great. A fun place for sure but don´t expect and quite time here unless you come early. Great place!! | | Dstructo (12), Hollywood, Florida | | March 28, 2010 Awesome gem in a part of south Florida that offers little aside from Carona & BMC. 4 of the best rotating taps down here. Steve, the owner & chef makes some of the best Belgian inspired food specials anywhere. Especially his soups!!! Ian, the friendly guy behind the little bar top, is always eager to talk beer and he really knows his stuff. He even gave us tips on where to go while we were in Belgium last year. Good beer. Good people. Awesome place! | | Moodster (11), Florida | | March 20, 2010 To some, the size of this place is a negative. However, to me I like it’s coziness. Thanks to my pompano resident friend, I found a new place!!! (when I’m in pompano, of course) I don’t think there are many places in pompano worth checking out when it comes to beer joints so you must go... | | dimenhetfield (56), , Florida | | November 6, 2009 They have a few jems, like the Rochefort Trappistes 10, but the place is pretty small and it sort of ruins the ambiance of the whole experience. It’s worth a look, but it’s pricey. Bring lots of money. | | quiquesan (15), Miami, Florida | | August 30, 2009 Great local restaurant/beer bar on the beach. I’ve been there a few times now and have had a great time each visit. Selection was good, having everything you might assume would be at a beer bar plus a few others. Food selection is a bit limited but trust the specials and you can’t go wrong, at least I haven’t yet. The food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Service is great. | | Rustyham (84), Nashville, Tennessee | | May 31, 2009 Nice little place with some genuinely random beer along with the belgian classics. Food was okay, but not for the price- the only thing on the menu under $10 was a salad. This place is a Restaurant first and a bar second- not a bad thing, just something to think about before you get there. Plus it’s hard to find. When you hit the beach, back up 100 feet and you’re there. | | Sammy (408), Toronto, Ontario | | February 18, 2009 An oasis of Florida places near the beach. Specializing in top-notch Belgian beers, prominently stacked and displayed as woud be a good wine bar. Cozy, casual, staff closed up earlier to enjoy their own beer, and opened up for me. Four taps only, but great selections. Of course the appropriate glasswear and temperature. Not for selection, but to enjoy a beer, I would hang out here. Prices a bit on the high side, you pay for quality. Could become a bit more upscale, but then it would not be the same place.
