Stopped by accident on the way to Seattle, spent the afternoon. Had a great time.

Very cool little tasting room with a few tables. Had free snacks in a dog bowl to balance some of the heavily flavored beers. Very knowledgeable people. I got to try something that had just been brewed and was brought out from back and that’s always cool. Very nice flight and a good price too..... Been back a lot of times. Always great............ Feb 4. Moved to new location. I have not been yet.

Great little brewery located in god’s own back door. Fred and staff are always friendly and the beer selection is wonderful. Keep up the good work!

Way up in Northern Idaho there is a little oasis called Laughing Dog Brewing in the little town of Ponderay. Right next off Lake Pend Oreille this is a great place to visit. The tap room is clean and filled with growlers from everywhere. Great beer art work and posters. Get ready the big cut out dog bone that carries the 10 samples is huge and the samples are tasty. They got it all starting with a light Pale ale kicking it all the way up to a Hot Chihuahua and then great ready don’t be scared Dogzilla Black IPA is there also. If you like fruit beers the Huckleberry cream is one of the best I have ever had. The snacks served while you drink your samples are near perfect spicy little snack that leaves you wanting more beer. And when you had enough the Sweet stout will leave you ready for moving so you can be closer to the brewery. I was able to score a great tour of the brewery and see the inner workings of the place. They are busy all the time and wow the place was clean. Maybe hot but hell it is beer it starts out hot then becomes cold. They love what they do and they love to drink the product. There are several parties throughout the year so if your lucky to catch one be sure to schedule a visit during that time. I bet it is a rip roaring great time. Great brewery I will be back for sure to see what they have done since I was last there. Cheer to you Laughing Dog you are doing it right even serving your snacks in dog bowls.

Cute little stop in a warehouse. Bright tasting room. Wooden sample tray is in the shape of a dog bone. Complementary cayenne cheesies and pretzels are served in a dog bowl. Staff are super friendly. 3 tables and 6 stools at the bar. Lots of info. Lots of stories. And a sample of the next seasonal.

May 2007: I could’ve stayed here for hours! About the friendliest brewery I’ve ever visited, from the staff to the local patrons, everyone was awesome. The owner/brewer gave me a sample of his private experimental tap and opened a bottle of his Imperial IPA for me, too. On top of the friendly atmosphere, every one of the beers were exceptionally delicious and well made. I think I might move to Sandpoint! Definitely visit if you’re in the area ... several really good beers are available by the pint or in 10 oz glasses and brewery schwag is available.

Great Place to have a beer and vist. Owner is very friendly and great to talk to. Beer is great and very drinkable

Great Place to try Laughing Dogs Beers, the taproom usually has a crowd and The Brewer is almost always available to talk beer for a few minutes or show you his brewery if he is’nt busy
