Belmont Station is like many beer stores I have encountered that are considered beer destinations; much smaller than imagined. That’s not to say it is tiny, just smaller than I had envisioned. Nestled on the corner in a business district with many residential neighborhoods nearby this is a dream destination beer store. Stellar selections at every turn and the prices seemed reasonable compared to other stores in the area. The service was friendly and when I told them I was from out of town I was offered some suggestions. I did not venture in to the taproom area but the selection, of course, was pretty great. Overall, this is yet another must on the list of beer destinations in Portland.

Stopped by to do some beer shopping and didn’t grab a pint though they had some interesting brews on tap at the time. They were about to close and the dude behind the counter was a bit surly and hurried me along when I asked some questions. I like the seperate section of barrel aged beers. Brews are seperated by style which I like as well. Nice selection of glassware. All in all a pretty cool little shop.

Stopped in here on my great "short trip to the west coast" search for a bottle of Pliny the Elder to bring back west with me. Man, what a beer store. Iwould practically live here if I was in the area. Excellent selection, well organized, tons of single, great glassware from near and far. I was asked if I was looking for anything in particular and was told they didn’t have any Pliny, but was then pointed to another beer store/bar down the street where he knew they did have it. How awesome is that? I didn’t get to try the restaurant next door, but I was told they were doing a Dogfish Head tasting flight as their special for the day along with some excellent sounding sandwiches. Very cool place.

Outstanding store. Great well managed selection, some very cool bottles on the shelf. If I remember correctly everything available as a single. Very nice glassware selection. Super friendly and very helpful staff. A must stop!

Love this place. The beer selection is out of this world and well kept, and the cafe is the perfect little accompaniment, with lots of great beer events. Definitely at the top of the list when visiting Portland.

There is a great beer selection, probably third to Capital Market in Salem and John’s Market in SW Portland. There is a nice rotation of beers and they seem pretty fresh. They claim 1200-1400 different beers. They also have an attached bar

Kind of hard to rate this place, as it is more like two places in one - half beer store and half taproom/cafe - both sides are very small - beer store side is, as noted, quite impressive - well selected regionals and imports, mostly in bombers, but there are some six packs, too - prices are quite high and their policy of having one price when you pay cash and another, slightly higher price if you pay using plastic is some serious bullshit - the cafe is nice - impressive draft list and one cask - prices there are more reasonable than the bottles, although you can bring anything from the store over to consume on-site (but they add an "uncorking" charge of 1.50, which again, I find to be serious bullshit) - small menu of soup and sandwiches - food is merely okay - servers are attentive, but a little indifferent - despite my gripes, it really is an impressive place and one I would recommend to anyone traveling through Portland - it just isn’t "world class."

It’s not a big place, but they do pack in some really good stuff. Very good regional choices. It’s near the airport, so if you’re visiting the area you should stop by.

My experiences at Belmont Station have varied greatly from visit to visit. Most of the staff isn’t very talkative or friendly, though not rude. The beer selection is obviously the main reason to come here, though sometimes they can be a little over priced on bottles. Belmont Station is a great place to go peruse the bottle selection and chill with friends, though they need more seating. They always have some really delicious beers on tap, jump on the good ones quickly because they go fast.
