88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 AguynamedTodd (89) Illinois | April 25, 2013 I’ve been to this place every time I visit Portland. I’ve enjoyed visiting with the crew and having them point out beers which I might want to try. They give you great critiques on the beers and are able to compare/contrast with other similar beers. Selection is great; can always find some of the more difficult/popular beers here. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Clembo1957 (37) Smethwick, England | April 18, 2013 Excellent bottle shop and one of the best selection of bottled beers I’ve come across, and an excellent bar attached! | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 altonbrownd (197) Brussels, Belgium | April 12, 2013 This is definitely one of the best bottle shops I have been to. Lots and lots of selection of international, domestic and local beers. All of it high quality, the service was pleasant and informed and the pricing seemed good (but I live in Europe.) My only negative was that too many bottles/cans are sold in packages and not available in singles. But this might be a Portland law I don’t know about. More singles please! | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 Brewchacho4 (5) Vancouver, WA, Washington | April 11, 2013 Best bottle shop in Portland bar none. They have a crazy selection of hard to find beers, knowledgable and helpful staff, a great selection of glassware, and there’s always something noteworthy on tap in the other room. Definitely worth stoping at if you’re looking to get your hands on some hard to find beers. Overall, Belmont Station is one of the gems of the Portland craft beer culture. Do yourself a favor and visit them. You’ll be glad you did! | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 ipaapi (7) Oregon | April 9, 2013 If they don’t have it at Belmont Station, they don’t have it in Oregon. Along with Horse Brass, Belmont Station is a big part of the Portland beer fabric. Knowledgable staff, cash discounts, enough beer to make you dizzy, and that’s before you start drinking!
Perfect Beer Store!! | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 fluffheady (46) Chicago, Illinois | March 30, 2013 Crazy selection of bottles. Nice people behind the bar. I honestly expected them to be a little more surly - as usually happens with institutions. They had some fun things on draft and many local things. Wish I could have spent more time there. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Fatehunter (32) Corbett, Oregon | December 29, 2012 The place is a Portland institution. A well organized selection. A discount for buying with cash. They have one of the better selections of glassware from Europe and the U.S. It’s one of my favorite places to visit when in the area. | 84 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 Theydon_Bois (372) The ’Sham, England | November 18, 2012 Visited on 07/11/12 around 11.30 am.
We were the only people shopping for beers at this time and the adjoining bar was not open. The store guy was friendly and offered a few suggestions to us. Good well organised selection, easy to find everything. | 94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 thomas15 (17) | August 18, 2012 amazing beers rare beers on draft, enthusiastic service, mind blowing selection, and crazy beer swag. Could spent an entire day here easy, will return come hell or high water. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 Westmeister (53) Atlanta, Georgia | August 6, 2012 On my trip to Portland I biked from downtown to Belmont with my hiking backpack in the rain. Totally worth it. After about 30 minutes of staring, I made my selection of various Alesmith, Alaskan, Russian Rivers and bike with about 45 pounds of beer back to the city. Totally worth it. |
