Tiny fucking place, with no more than ~6 coolers, or so. Couple of taps. They had, as a few folks have said, a couple of gems I didn’t see anywhere else. Plus, the chick working the bar was a little uninformed, but I think she’ll be just fine in the coming months. Anyways, relatively nice selection, given the space. I wouldn’t head here for your main haul, but I’d give it a shot, just to make sure that you didn’t miss out on anything special that quickly sold-out at Belmont. Not much to this place.

This newer shop is a well run, clean, well stocked shop off of Missisppi, about a 10 minute walk from the N Prescott stop on the Yellow Max line. Mike is a very outgoing guy who will make sure you get everything you are looking for. Heck the guy will even sell you some stamps. Lots of rarer HOTD’s, Russian River Supplication and Consecration, all of the local’s you could possibly want including the Upright’s, Bouvelard Smokestacks, HUB, Laurelwood, 10 Barrel, Lompoc. Prices are very good and the whole package makes it worth the walk, plus you can stop and rest at Prost and Fire on the Mountain along your way. Portlanders get out there and support your guys like Mike, he’s giving his all to improve your already phemoninal beer scene.

*Full disclosure: This review was done before I bought into the shop* If I could delete this review, I would. Look forward to see what this place will become in a few years. Mike is a great guy. Just expanded with another cooler to around 400 or so well chosen beers. I feel fortunate to live only a block away. He plans to expand eventually and offer taps, I hope it happens.

good selection, smallish store, most everything in coolers. found a couple of things I didn’t see elsewhere in town. another small beer-only store that portland can sustain. the world needs more.

This place is going to be great once it reaches its potential. One of the only offerings for bottleshops up this way in North Portland. Selection is on the smaller side right now, but really refined. You’ll find offerings from Oskar Blues to Russian River. He even had in the hype beer, Temptation, from Russian River and was selling it a couple bucks cheaper than where I have seen it elsewhere.

Recently opened beer mart. Selection is only so-so now, but they plan to expand. Service is super friendly, they have seasonals and rare beers, and plan to add taps. On street parking only and is often hard to find.
